Not that good

Most Hallmark are good but sorry I found this one really boring I almost turned it off several times. I can not recommend this one at all James Welch Henderson Arkansas. 5/2/2022.

Cute movie

I loved this. Although there was no chemistry between the main characters, I did think the plot was fun. If you've watched a lot of the G rated romance movies than you know what to expect. Not a lot of twist there, but overall it was a cute show. I could easily watch it again.

Same but different

The story has several commonly used themes. Matchmaking. An app. He's got a secret. The secret is obviously going to blow things up.

Despite all the things that are common, somehow it develops differently perhaps because it seems strange. The ending was sappy and sweet and I liked how it was done.

I figured out Peter's secret even before we really knew it was a secret. I knew it would present a big problem. That conflict came up more suddenly than I expected.

Robin Dunne and Megan Hutchings were very comfortable together, but I didn't see a lot of sparks. Some of that was because Megan's character, Leah, kept holding back.

I didn't like Peter's methods even before the secret came up. They were deceptive. If I were one of the clients, I would be upset at some of the tricks he uses if I found out.

Kyana Teresa is great as Grace.

Dull and formulaic

Nothing new to see here. I found it very boring. The two lead characters have no chemistry. The ending was as dull as the beginning.

Yuck! Boring! Bad!

Bad acting skills, very unattractive actors (3rd or 4th string at least). Just boring, just bad.

I really tried to like it, but I could not make it to the end as I respect my integrity and taste too much.

Do yourself a favor and skip right over this dog.

A bit of a mystery! But not quite sure about it.

Not what a usually look for age-wise as this is a big cast of dating millennials, rather than a three generational family scenario. However, I love a non-murder mystery, which this is, albeit a little bit predictable at times - you do have to concentrate though as the large number of characters means a lit of plot twists. It isn't a favourite, but I did empathise with every character, especially the more flawed ones - sometimes we just get into stupid situations that aren't really us, but we just gotta chalk them up to experience and be more forgiving of ourselves and others, as this movie implies.

tries

The subject was too often used. And, in this case, it is wasted. The acting is far to be considered good. And the presumed twists are just dusty.

But,sure, only another Hallmark. Reasonable for easy entertainment. And a very conventional romance.

So, nothing good and nothing bad. Matching, competition, old fashion romantic comedies and ex love stories. And the hard try to save a tasteless story in which nothing works credible.

But, sure, good intentions, old recipe and presumed indulgence of viewer.

The good things - the effort of Dunne to seems be new James Stewart and the portraits. But can be enough ? Not exactly.
