Dont waste time on other episodes

One should know that this is the first Telugu anthology Netflix original released ever and not to compare with already proved industries like Hindi and Tamil who have their own hit anthologies. Not comparing it with lust stories of paava kathaigal, pitta kathalu is just a sub par anthology presented. Tharun Bhasker shines out of all the stories. Ramula was real rustic and technically brilliant. Meera of Nandini reddy fails massively. Reasons being one is the lead cast. Amala Paul was barely suitable for the role and was too artificial in her acting. Jagapathi babu stands out. Story was unique but the delivery of amala paul ruins the whole episode. And I don't even want to talk about the other two stories which were lame, boring and wannabe material. Pinky was so irritating that it felt like I have watched the first 30 minutes to achieve nothing. Clear waste of my time. X-Files concept was okay but the lead actors ruined it. The guy nag ashwin picked was awfully bad. Disappointed but still not leaving hopes on them to come back with other good stuff.

The Film Cast acting was good but the Stories after Ramula were Not good. Ramula is the best in the whole Film in my opinion. Better dont watch Pinky there is nothing useful

Waste of time for both cast&crew and audience!

If you wanted to watch just go for 4th episode, rest everything is intolerable!

Totally Dissatisfied with the series it's better to watch movies like Gzombie, Naandhi then this intha budget petti they got a bad content

Tharun bhasker yet again proved why he was one of best directors in telugu , go watch it for ramula , you will love it , and another three stories are normal as usual and last vivek sagar is legend he gave that goosebumps bgm 👌

All except Pinky was predictable, strong acting of the entire cast

This is not a move.. it's a mini series. Ramula is above average. Meera is below average. xLife is average. Pinky is bad.

Just finished watching all the episodes expect the Frst episode ramula all other episodes did not keep up the expectations

Just watched Ramula and others yet to watch.... Been amazed with the Play and it has proved the bg score can put a movie to next level...

Simply superb

All the four shorts regardless of their content are very well presented. The stories are intriguing and the directors are trying to give something new or giving the old stuff with some style, yet was adorable.

I couldn't find 0.5 stars in the rating list. So 1 star. Thank me later Netflix and the production team as well as the stupid directors.

I think Netflix must watch atleast every Movie 1 time before signing some agreements. Dumb movie ever.

Watched all 4 episodes, Horrible ....non of the episodes are good . Don't waste your time... do something useful

I don't generally watch telugu movies. bt decided to give it a try after watching the trailer..and i must say i had a good time. Talking about the stories "RAMULA" and "LIFEX" stands out..and personally i found "PINKY" to be the weakest!

One waste attempt to make a anthology..!! Should have done more research..!!

Out of the four stories, here is my order of liking.

1. "Ramula" 2. "Meera" 3. "Pinky" 4. "xLife"

Netflix's first Telugu original film 'Pitta Kathalu' is an immense disappointment. It brings back stories we've seen, heard, or read and later forgotten. Focusing on the lives of women and their journey through love, betrayal, and patriarchy, Pitta Kathalu fails miserably to impress. 'Ramulu' by Tharun Bhascker is a breath of fresh air among the other stories, it brings to screen a humorous village love story of Ramulu and Ram Chander with an out-of-the-blue ending. Cinematography and Music complement this short story well, which makes it the best out of the lot and my personal favorite. Nandini Reddy's 'Viswa' is treated as an episode of an Indian Soap Opera, where the husband has a supreme inferiority complex towards his wife and doubts everything she does, predictable much right? Nag Ashwin's 'XLife' concept was very similar to the segment 'Glitch' written by Raj & DK for the anthology 'Unpaused' in prime video, both segments focus on Love in a Virtual Reality world in the future, but XLife is yet another disappointment. The last segment of Pitta Kathalu is 'Pinky' by Sankalp Reddy, and it feels like they made the short story for a 'filler' among the other stories so that the producers can round it to 4 episodes. Watch Pitta Kathalu only for 'Ramulu' and then get back to watching something that you left off.

Ramula is very good, brings laughs Meera is the best out of the four, very good story telling and acting XLife is ok, I was able to tell twist a few minutes into Shruti Hassans introduction- the story has been told before Pinky is worse out of the four, feels like a serial story and ending is very irritating you can skip this one and save yourself 35 minutes

First story directed by nandhini I didn't liked it the same again old story Second by Tarun it was improper ending....dissapointed Third by Ashwin I think to max extent only this guy did ok can have some more scenes And the last sankalp ok avoid it.

The stories of this series is different but this is good. Acting is also good.

It was a decent watch , it's refreshing to see tfi has tried something different. A must watch if you respect creativity out of tfi and looking for something different. Never got boring even for second and the acting was pretty decent as well. Something that rose to the level of a good hindi web series.
