Best movie in a long time

"Le tourbillon de la vie" is a thought-provoking and impactful film. It addresses a fundamental human prerogative , what if....? It brilliantly portraits alternative realities to life and the "insignificant" actions and moments that altered our path forever . It offer audiences a chance to reflect on their own lives and the choices they've made. By presenting different possibilities and outcomes, the film invite viewers to consider the impact of their decisions and the potential consequences of different paths taken.

Furthermore, when a movie successfully combines exceptional filmmaking and storytelling, it can create a lasting impression on its audience. The power of a well-crafted narrative, coupled with captivating visuals, can make a film memorable and resonate deeply with viewers It is a rare when a movie achieves such an outstanding note in both, filmmaking and story telling . A movie that will stay with you.

A pleasant surprise with an interesting narrative device

Very pleasantly surprised. The film is unexpected and uses its narrative device well. Emotionally believable all the while staying dynamic for the viewers with its multiple storylines. I throughly enjoyed how unpredictable it stayed, no one storyline was fully negative or positive, it illustrated the ups and downs of life with grace and honesty.

In conclusion, check it out if you can and you won't regret it! Sweet, thoughtful and an emotional ride. Support small French cinema! 🇫🇷

Only gripes: I would have loved to see an ending that shows all of her lives, since it seems to prioritize one of the outcomes over the others which defeats the films own message. Apparently the couple in the film never heard of the concept of adoption (?).

Fate and hazard

This French film is not my cup of tea at all, but from time to time, it is good, refreshing, to watch such items. I think it is a film of today's generation, smart, sensitive, brilliant. In terms of screenwriting and editing this is purely a tour de force. Also a tour de force for me trying to follow it entirely. I won't be able to summarize it, too complex. I guess this kind of plot, offering different options to life, according to hazard, has already been made before. But it is another way, and also maybe a new one, to tell a story; as were ensemble films scheme - MAGNIOLIA, COLLISION.... I like it anyway, even if I don't follow every step of this amazing story.
