In 2016, the show became more noticed due to internet memes involving the theme song. Co-creator Jesse Hernandez and creator of the theme song, Nump, have tweeted and posted on Facebook about the meme, appreciating all the support.
Nump, creator of the theme song, has been asked if season 3 will ever be released. He said on Twitter that season 3 should happen and that he supports the idea.
An extended version of the theme song (by Nump) was released in January 2017, 6 years after the show ended (2011).
