Raksha Panwar who plays Dipa in the Adarsh Nagar team is an ex-captain of the Indian Women's Football team and has represented the country at several international events.
The entire Adarsh Nagar team had to go through a grueling 2-month-long football training camp so that their football skills look presentable. The only actor who was excused from the training was Jitendra Kumar. However, the actor had to prepare for his role by learning magic for several weeks under two different magicians.
Arushi Sharma went through a long audition process before being selected for the role of Disha. Over 200 actors had auditioned for the part.
