An intimate and unfiltered look at one of the most polarizing figures in sport, Johnny Manziel. This documentary dives deep into the rise, fall, and tumultuous path of a player who had all the tools to be one of the greats but ultimately squandered the opportunities.
From the opening scene you see Manziel is a prodigious talent, his college career at Texas A&M was nothing short of electric ( raw footage of his presence on campus and in Texas ) is bigger than the footage of Lebron James walking into the Miami Heat stadium at the same time. But this documentary also shows the darker side of fame and the cost of living life in the fast lane. You see the tension between his teammates once traded into the NFL and his public image.
What's perhaps most tragic about Manziel's story is the sheer wasted potential. The film is an emotional, compelling exploration of what might have been.
