First of all, why are the mother and daughter living in Versailles? The house is ridiculously over the top. Vivica is wonderful as always, the daughter bland, the mother strong. The young man is excellent and keeps it on track, even when the dialog is risible.
The channel of unrealistic, over the top & downright cheesy stories.
Sometimes forget what movie it is,due to recycled actors & plots.
The mom's acting was over the top & outfits more suited for teens. Was like she was told action, now go enter the room.. Always rushing in,honestly a bit ridiculous.
The villian tried hard, just wasn't real great.
I like Vivica but.. Enough! Is there nobody else? Let's not forget homes & more, that seem a bit out of reality.
Was refreshing seeing faces that seemed new,but didn't save this reasonably ok movie.
Won't make my list of movies to rewatch, even in the distant future.

If I could give it a minus rating I would. Horrible acting and I guessed the plot ending 15 minutes into the movie. Don't waste your time on this one.
Emily meets new student David at her high school who she starts to develop feelings for. But then David starts to begin stalking her, becoming controlling and getting violent. But why? You will have to turn in to see this Lifetime movie which ends with a bang! And of course, Ms Vivica is along for the ride, too! New actor Evan Adams has a nice acting future ahead of him! Recommend this valentine flick.
I sat down to watch the 2021 TV movie "The Wrong Valentine" mostly because the movie had Vivica A. Fox on the cast list. But I also opted to watch it since it was a movie that I hadn't already seen before.
And I must admit that when I saw that it was a Lifetime movie, then I didn't really harbor much of any expectation to writers Robert Dean Klein, Jeffrey Schenck and Peter Sullivan. But I still opted to watch the movie.
As the movie came to the end, I have to admit that I was actually glad I opted to watch the movie, despite of it being a Lifetime movie, because "The Wrong Valentine" was genuinely entertaining and a good movie. The storyline was well written. Sure, it was predictable and somewhat generic, but the material worked.
The acting performances in the movie were good, and they had some interesting names and talents on the cast list. The lead roles were played nicely by Mariah Robinson (playing Emily) and Evan Adams (playing David). I was especially impressed with Evan Adams and his spot on performance as a mentally unstable stalker. The movie also had a nice performance from Arie Thompson (playing Ashley, Emily's mom) and of course Vivica A. Fox (playing Ms. Connelly). A shame that Vivica A. Fox didn't have more on-screen time.
While "The Wrong Valentine" was an entertaining and very watchable movie, the contents of the storyline and script hardly had enough material to sustain more than a single viewing. However, I will say that you should definitely sit down to watch director David DeCoteau's "The Wrong Valentine" movie if you have the chance. I was genuinely entertained and positively surprised.
My rating of "The Wrong Valentine" lands on a seven out of ten stars.
