The holiday horror film Silent Night, Deadly Night is getting reimagined with a new horror
remake currently in the works. It's now been revealed who will be playing the new Billy, the character who suits up as Santa Claus to carry out a killing spree on Christmas Eve.
As announced by Bloody Disgusting, horror star Rohan Campbell has signed on to play Billy Chapman, the role originally played by Robert Brian Wilson in the Silent Night, Deadly Night reboot. Campbell is best known to horror fans for his role as Corey Cunningham in David Gordon Green's Halloween Ends, the latest installment of the Halloween franchise. His character is one of the very few other kills in the Halloween franchise other than Michael Myers, and he'll be able to put that slasher killer experience to further use as the star of the new Silent Night, Deadly Night.

Hulu offers a wide array of films and series refreshed monthly, with over 100 new movies and TV shows coming to the platform in November. Launched in 2007, Hulu has been at the forefront of the streaming service boom since the very beginning, and it's one of the most popular services thanks to its rich catalog of new and classic movies and shows. From hosting series from networks like FX and ABC to producing original films and shows, Hulu has become an indispensable source of entertainment.
October 2024 was a busy month for the platform with the return of some popular series, including What We Do in the Shadows and Abbott Elementary. There were also plenty of horror titles for the Halloween season. Looking ahead to November 2024, Hulu is once again getting into the festive season with the addition of a variety of Christmas content, including TV movies, reality specials, and holiday movie favorites.

October was huge for Disney+ and Hulu — but which month isn’t? After the weekly installments of “Agatha All Along” and the staple that is Huluween, the bundled streamers gear up for winter programming this November.
Disney+ continues to be the home for live episodes of “Dancing With the Stars” and the original series “Ayla & The Mirrors,” which continues to air new episodes. Along with new children’s programming and holiday specials like “An Almost Christmas Story,” the streamer will premiere “The Music of John Williams” on November 1, celebrating the acclaimed film composer and his decades-long career with new footage and interviews from those he worked with and inspired.
It’s another big month for movies coming to Hulu, as well as beloved shows like “Ally McBeal” (complete series). Stay tuned for an adaptation of Charles Yu’s “Interior Chinatown” and the docuseries “It’s All Country,” as well as...

CBS has given the official go-ahead to a remake of its classic 1970s cop series "Hawaii Five-o."
The pilot, from "Star Trek" and "Fringe" writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci and "CSI: NY" executive producer Peter Lenkov, will be an updated version of the original series, about a state police unit in Honolulu. The show got a preliminary order in the fall, and it's now been given the Ok to begin production, the showbiz trade papers report.
CBS has had the project on its mind for a while. It first took a swing at a remake in 2008 with "Criminal Minds" executive producer Ed Bernero, then got into business with Orci, Kurtzman and Lenkov last year.
- Elsewhere in pilot-land, NBC's "Undercovers" has added to its cast, and Fox has greenlit a pair of projects.

Welcome to another week of TV or Not TV where I just can’t wait until January.
If you are one of the few people that actually watch NBC you know that Chuck is coming back earlier than expected. The show, which was given a new lease on life thanks to avid fans and their feverish purchasing of Subway sandwiches on Monday nights, was originally supposed to return some time in March of next year. It was also originally just given a 13 episode pickup with the possibility of more episodes happening if the show did well in the ratings.
Approximately four weeks ago two interesting bits of news began to trickle down the line. The first bit of exciting news was that the show was getting the go-ahead for an additional six episodes, bringing the total episode count up from 13 to 19. This made fans, and me, very happy. This made the schedule,...

A warm, fuzzy wind is clearly blowing through the Spelling households. Last week, E! News learned exclusively that the long-running feud between Candy and Tori Spelling is coming to an end...and Aaron's widow isn't the only person happy about the reunion. "It's a wonderful, positive thing," Tori's husband, Dean McDermott, told E! News today at an event in New York City celebrating his ABC Family movie, Santa Baby 2: Christmas Maybe. "At the risk of sounding corny, we need more positive stuff in this world, so it's a good thing." While we know Candy has finally had the opportunity to spend time with grandchildren Stella and Liam, Dean was uncertain about...

Holy holly! Did you guys just see that? Santa whizzing by on a sleigh packed with Barbies and basketballs? A man and a woman falling into a snowbank and sharing an unexpected kiss? Formerly estranged family members getting all huggy-feely and crooning “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” as the credits roll? Oh, wait—I think I know what’s happening. I’m having another post-traumatic hallucination, a result of a recent work assignment. For the fourth year in a row, I, loyal Entertainment Weekly servant, have taken on the ridiculous challenge of watching all of the networks’ original holiday TV-movies.

Dean McDermott is best known for his hit reality show in which he stars with his wife, Tori Spelling, on "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood." But soon he'll be sharing on-screen kisses with raven-haired beauty Rena Sofer in this month's Hallmark Channel original movie "Always & Forever" and later Jenny McCarthy in the ABC Family holiday-timed release of "Santa Baby 2."
But McDermott, who's been married to Spelling for over three years, can't recall a time she's ever seen him kiss another woman on-screen. "I don't know if she's seen any kissing scenes. Wow, this might be the first," he said. "I don't know how she's going to react."
He'll find out soon enough, as "Always & Forever," a story of two high school sweethearts who reconnect at their 20-year high school reunion, premieres October 24th. But McDermott says Spelling has no qualms about his co-stars. "She knows Rena. She's worked with Rena before.
