Prime Video’s official trailer for Fallout, based on the wildly popular video game series, opens with a dapper-looking Walton Goggins promoting nuclear fallout shelters known as Vaults. However, Goggins loses his spiffy attire as the trailer continues, transforming into The Ghoul in what’s become a post-apocalyptic hellscape known as the Wasteland.
The trailer also provides an extended look at Lucy, a naïve Vault Dweller who’s shocked to discover people are living outside of the safety of shelters, and Maximus, a member of the Brotherhood of Steel. There’s plenty of action, comedy, and chaos in the trailer, capped off by a wink at the end.
Prime Video hosted a press conference prior to the trailer’s online debut with series stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets) and Aaron Moten (Emancipation). They were joined executive producers/showrunners Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, executive producer/director Jonathan Nolan, and executive producer...

Alan Ritchson is a force of nature in Prime Video's "Reacher," where he delivers a compelling, book-accurate performance of the titular drifter with a penchant for solving crimes. Ritchson balances Reacher's brute strength with the perfect amount of vulnerability, painting him as a man fiercely dedicated to the cause, willing to evolve as a person when the situation demands so. While Reacher is perhaps one of his best roles so far, Ritchson's career is marked with performances that need to be highlighted, given how often they tend to be overlooked.
Before Ritchson started playing buff dudes who could beat up anyone in the room, he embodied a diverse range of characters on both the big and small screens. Ritchson started his career with a recurring guest role in the DC Comics series "Smallville," where he played Arthur Curry/Aquaman — a role he reprised when he voiced the character in the animated film,...

Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel is still on board to lead the big screen adaptation of the classic toy game Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots from Mattel. In a recent interview with Variety, the Oscar nominated producer and Head of Mattel Films, Robbie Brenner, offered an update on the project, stating that Diesel is “excited” to star in the Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots movie. Maybe as a robot? Maybe as a human? We currently have no idea.
“Vin is excited. We’re working on developing a script and we’re all very excited about it.”
Coming courtesy of Universal Pictures Vin Diesel's One Race Films, and due to be written by Ryan Engle, further details regarding the Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots movie are thin on the ground, but we can no doubt expect an explosive action extravaganza as Vin Diesel either fights robots as a robot or as a man.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will return not only in the Fast & Furious saga but also his own spinoff that can answer some major questions brought up by Fast X. Despite Johnson’s character Luke Hobbs becoming a Fast & Furious staple since Fast Five, the wrestler-turned-actor didn’t seem to return to the franchise’s tenth installment as an aftermath of a publicized feud with fellow actor Vin Diesel. But as the Fast X post-credits scenes revealed, Hobbs still exists in the Fast & Furious franchise and Johnson is all set to return as the character. After Fast X’s release, a Hobbs-centric spinoff titled Hobbs & Reyes was announced, continuing the Fast saga.
This spinoff would be the second solo adventure Hobbs embarked on after 2019’s Hobbs & Shaw. A new spinoff can finally explain why The Rock returned as Hobbs in Fast X even though he was adamant about not returning to the franchise.

It's clear with each new addition in the "Fast and Furious" franchise that these movies are about family, not physics. What began as "Point Break" with cars has evolved into the ever-more-ridiculous exploits of a super spy team stacked with heroes — and villains and villains turned heroes. From racing the streets with the all-powerful Nos to racing into space, this saga left plausibility in their rearview many moons ago. Luckily, for the most part, the movies are held together thanks to the chemistry of the "Fast Family" and action sequences so knowingly bonkers the audience feels in on the joke. As Mark Kennedy summed up in his review for The Associated Press, "Fast X" is pure popcorn lunacy."

Fast X is currently tearing up the box office to the tune of an estimated $66 million domestic gross this weekend, and fans of the long-running high-octane franchise are discovering the truth about who lives and who dies. When it came to the death of one character, it seems that director Louis Leterrier’s decision took one actor a little time to come to terms with.
The Fast & Furious movie hit a major stumbling block when Justin Lin left the production near the start of filming. Leterrier joined the production and immediately took the helm and rewrote the entire ending of the movie in just a couple of weeks. One of the things he added was the death of John Cena’s Jakob, and as he revealed toEntertainment Weekly, it was a decision that was not instantly a hit with the wrestler-turned-actor.

The Fast & Furious franchise is coming to a (prolonged) close starting with Fast X. The tenth installment in the long-running franchise is the beginning of the end for the core Fast family, and fittingly pulls out all the stops in the process. What’s more, even as the franchise speeds toward the finish line, it has introduced one of its best-ever villains in Jason Momoa’s Dante.
Of course, the Fast & Furious franchise is ultimately about family both on-screen and behind the scenes. Much of the creative team behind Fast X has worked on previous films in the saga, and composer Brian Tyler is no exception. Fresh off his masterful score for The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Tyler has created a bombastic score for Fast X that also adds fresh and new musical elements that fit perfectly with what has come before. Tyler’s score will be released...

This post contains major spoilers for "Fast X."
The fact that 2001's "The Fast and the Furious" kickstarted its story with a group of street racers hijacking trucks with illegal DVDs feels like something that took place in an alternate universe. Nearly two prequels and nine sequels later, the "Fast & Furious" franchise has grown and mutated beyond recognition, emerging as a tentpole blockbuster franchise with increasingly audacious stunts completely removed from the realm of reality.
This aspect of "Fast & Furious," however, has often worked in its favor — the genuinely impressive vault chase sequence in "Fast 5" calls for an appreciation for the franchise's commitment to pulling off the impossible, while entries like "F9" ensure that ludicrous-yet-entertaining action set pieces are balanced with meaningful emotional stakes. While "Fast X" doubles down on its dedication to going all out on its premise with a growing cast of globetrotting characters, Louis Leterrier...

Like most horror monsters, the Gremlins have long been a part of pop culture since their on-screen debut forty years ago. The rules of what not to do with the furry little creatures are baked into most movie buffs’ minds even if they haven’t seen the film — I joked about not feeding myself after midnight long before I ever watched the Joe Dante original. They’re as essential to ‘80s cinema as Freddy Krueger or the Deadites, and now they’re back, as the mischievous critters invade Max with their new animated series, Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai.

Star Vin Diesel teases that Fast X will feature a standout car action sequence in Rome and shares a new behind-the-scenes photo from the on-location shoot. The tenth installment in the popular and long-running Fast & Furious franchise, Fast X sees Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and his crew of talented drivers taking on a new villain in the form of Jason Momoa's Dante. The film, which is directed by Louis Leterrier, is set to once more take Dom and the rest of the crew to various locales around the world, including Rome and places in South America.

The Fast X trailers have provided a selection of suitably over-the-top moments for the incoming movie - with six particularly standing out amongst the others. Based on the footage, those who love the Fast & Furious franchise will not be disappointed in this newest installment. Aside from the full trailer, there was a one-minute TV spot for the Super Bowl that was full of high-adrenaline chases, explosions, and stunts. They all happen because of a new threat: Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa).
Dante is out for revenge against Dominic "Dom" Toretto (Vin Diesel), whom he blames for the death of his father, Hernan Reyes (Joachim de Almeida), despite the fact that Reyes had directly and indirectly murdered Dom's crew at the time. In response to the deaths, Dom and his crewmate Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) had stolen Reyes' safe with his entire cash estate. Hernan Reyes died in the ensuing shoot-out.

Fast X director Louis Leterrier breaks down the retcons to Fast Five for the upcoming sequel. Leterrier is best known for directing Clash of the Titans and The Incredible Hulk, making him no stranger to blockbuster movies. Fast X, however, marks his biggest as it brings back Fast & Furious alums like Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Jason Statham, John Cena, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron. Coming into play is Jason Momoa, who has beef with Dominic Toretto, since the events of Fast Five transpired. With the first trailer for the film out in time for Super Bowl weekend, what’s been so far revealed teases a rivalry between Dom and Momoa’s character, Dante, 12 years in the making.
Speaking with Total Film, Fast X director Louis Leterrier explains the film's retcons made to Fast Five’s story. Leterrier revealed that the...

"Fast X" will bring the Toretto gang back together for yet another wild ride: Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson and Nathalie Emmanuel will reunite with Vin Diesel as their respective characters. Brie Larson, Daniela Melchior and Alan Ritchson are also tapping in as new additions. But there are quite a few returning players involved in the production as well, faces that "Fast" fans will likely recognize.
We've already learned that the film's Big Bad, Dante (Jason Momoa) is actually the son of "Fast Five" villain Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida), and it seems that events and characters from other "Fast" films are fair game as well. According to director Louis Leterrier, "Fast X" represents a culmination of the saga. Everything from every "Fast" movie is pretty much on the table, so let's break down all the threads that will continue in the upcoming film.

The nearly four-minute official trailer for Universal Pictures’ Fast X introduces Jason Momoa as the big bad that Dom (Vin Diesel) and his crew will be going up against. The trailer starts off being all about family (since that’s a running theme in the Fast & Furious franchise) but then Momoa’s new character Dante pops up and warns, “Dominic Toretto, you’re about to learn all about fear.”
Dante continues: “You built such a beautiful life filled with love and family. I never got that chance. You stole that from me. My future. My family. And now…I’m gonna break yours. Piece by piece.”
So, that’s in the trailer’s first minute. A quick flashback shows the crew taking out Dante’s father, followed by lots of over-the-top action sequences and Michelle Rodriguez’s Letty promising they will fight back.
