Just discovered this show recently and I think I've seen enough episodes now to form an opinion.
Pros: Interesting and fresh concept in comparison to other HGTV shows. Not exactly "no demo" but the concept is a good one. Hostess/ designer is charming, witty, and fun-loving which makes the show fun. Most of the final designs are nice even if they show the designer's limited range.
Cons: The designs are often not practical. Lots of white walls, kitchens, and furniture when clients have small kids. She always leans towards taking out bath tubs as if no one takes baths. And when they ask her to keep the tubs, she always does stand-alone tubs with no storage. Also, her designs lack range in terms of diversity. I've never seen her install cabinets that weren't white (with a different color island). She tends to use the same greenish color for bedroom walls. I think she needs to stretch more, dare to change styles. Every countertop and cabinet doesn't have to be white.
Also, I think they could cut out the parts of the host doing things at her own home. It feels like unnecessary filler and makes the show a little too silly and unserious.
The show overall is definitely watchable and has potential to grow. Maybe the designs will get better as the young host gains more experience.

Jennis a breath of fresh air and full of joy! She's funny, kind, and backs up her fun personality with seriously good design. I love the feel that what she designs is actually attainable.
Love the pop-ups too!! So fun!!

Finally!! A realistic approach to affordable renovation. Jenn has amazing vision as well as the ability to make her clients feel that their input is valuable and important. Also, her energy is through the roof. This is a hit!
I don't know what the deal is with some people criticizing her hair (it's gorgeous and if it distracts you because she wears it down...how do you live life?). I've seen "she should not wear those shorts at her age." She's in her early thirties...what's the big deal?? I have followed Jenn on Instagram for about three years so perhaps I am bias as I already find her hilarious and able to perk up my day when I watch her "stories." This carries over to her show. As far as "no demo," I do understand some confusion, but they mean no permit is needed; no major demolition. I can go with that. I do not find her designs to be all the same nor do I find her bossy. She is friends with many of these clients! And she's not "trying to be cute." She's just super cute!! Goodness, imagine criticizing people for being cute! I have really enjoyed watching this show and look forward to when the next season airs.
How is it called No Demo Reno when there is clearly demo...just watched them cut down a wall and knocked out a jacuzzi tub and shower.
