A new report from Deadline revealed that Luke Evans will star in a new 1950s espionage thriller titled Emergency, that's based on the true story of Brigadier 'Mad' Mike Calvert. Evans is best known for his role as Owen Shaw in Fast & Furious 6 and also for playing Gason in the live-action Beauty and the Beast film which stars Dan Stevens and Emma Watson. The series is based on the true events that took place during the Malayan Emergency, a guerilla conflict between the Federation of Malaya, the British Empire, and communist fighters. Family Entertainment Television has inked a distribution agreement with streaming service Fubo that makes its two channels available on the online cable television replacement.

Starting this week, Family Entertainment Television (Fetv) and Family Movie Classics (Fmc) are available in Fubo’s base subscription package, giving both channels instant exposure to more than 1 million Fubo subscribers, the company said.

“We’re delighted to partner with Fubo to bring Fetv and Fmc to their growing offering of quality entertainment channels,” Cara Conte, the Executive Vice President of Affiliate Sales at Fetv and Fmc, said in a statement. “We look forward to a successful collaboration that will greatly benefit Fubo subscribers.”
