Interesting initially but boring repetitive misfortune

I usually stay clear of tear jerking sad series but the strong cast in this series kept me watching to episode 38. The music is haunting too. The bad guys are really downright villains and they always escape punishment. The good always suffer - that's what I didn't like about the series - all kinds of unimaginable horrible things happen to the siblings throughout seasons 1 & 2. I felt that justice is so elusive. But the superb acting from the entire cast save the whole series and made it watchable. Right now I'm seriously thinking of not continue watching this series because the same old misfortunes and enemies continue to torment the siblings. It's just outrageous and making me angry. The series is no longer enjoyable. What's wrong with the scriptwriters? I think they are just dragging the series. Such a shame to such a talented cast.

Review

The storyline of the show is pretty realistic and touching. But the actors are not that expressive, acting is below average level. Shengul is an exception, fadik have done a great job. Overall, show is great and addictive but casting directors should pay attention on the casts's acting skills.

Good Acting, worst worst worst Script

This series has the most skippable scenes ever. I watch each episode 15 mins each but I understood the plot because to much cliche and uninteresting scenes. I wonder if in each season the scriptwriters are going to kill one member of Eren Family. The script are like a constipation. The talented actors are so wasted. I understand why Kadir said he's so tired.

We are tired too.

Heartwarming and Beautiful Story about Family

Beautiful, heartwarming and extremely touching story about the struggles of orphaned siblings and the bond and love they share while trying to survive in a heartless world. Hardly any episode ends without tears streaking down your face. While it is indeed soap-operaish, and drags the storylines endlessly, the lovable cast and touching storylines, makes it impossible to dislike this show. You cannot help but smile along and cry along with them. The cast is so talented. Highly recommended.

Good

I loved the plot and everything about this drama but the acting part wasn't very good in my opinion, otherwise everything is fine.

Not perfect but lovable 🌸

I have watched so many turkish dramas to judge. I have left some of them in between because they started to get cringy and bored me to death.

Kardeslerim is not a perfect series, there are many scenes which i just skip and tbh the first episode didn't had that charm, so don't fall for the first few episodes because the different love stories happening at the same time will make you fall in love with this drama. 💖

Asiye and Doruk make one the cutest 💕 and best tv couples and I am sure they will be included in your list of favourites too (they will bind you to this series). I hope they'll include more scenes of them in later episodes, everyone wants to see them together for more than just a couple of minutes.

Kadir and Melissa are adorable and omer will also find someone (not giving you people spoilers).

I am shipping Aybike and Berk, Ogulcan and harika together, hoping they will make a couple.

It is worth watching 💖.

Stereotypes

I love Turkish dramas and am watching this particular one steadily hoping for some moment to justify my interest in the show.

Writers of the show, please please don't descend into the pit of stereotypes, excessive melodrama, wasting time and significant movements in the story to squeeze unnecessary episodes out of the narrative. The insistence to show us blow by blow incidents of school life is off putting. Life is filled with ups and downs but your drama wants to create a blanket out of a single ball of yarn.

Please tighten up the narrative & make it less predictable. Locations & drone photography is excellent.

began good .... But ..... !!!

The first season and the beginnings gave me a motive of a good family drama .. different families dealing with the real life circumstances , especially after the tragic death of the parents and how the orphan's suddenly facing the harsh cruel life with no experience at all ,,,, BUT At the second season things go's wrong with the script and scenario !!

Turned the show into some of absurdity , insignificance and a huge of naivety in a copy of situations .. A lot of misfortunes and crimes left or forgotten from the first season and still pending without a solve .

Usually the ambiguity and mystery solve at the end of the season ,, and the next season begins fresh with new plot and different problems ,,, guess what ,, Akef and Shegol no one remember that he killed the orphans parents and she was the worst greedy uncle's wife .

Soooooory Akef and his wifes Nebhat and Suzan made a huge crimes ,,, Shengul also commeted a great bad acts either crimes or humanly and they get away with it .

The money stolen from the orphans chicken coop ,same act scenes first from Jamila at the beginning of season 2 and at episode 34 from Harika !!

And they do not know to call police in there situations .

Early episodes i gave it high rating ... but now sorry it is weak.

Let's be honest

Two issues I have with this drama is the filler over and over. The main plot is to bring the main antagonist to his demise. He's responsible for everything he caused. That has not happened yet.

That being said, Kardeslerim is without a doubt one of the saddest shows I've ever seen. It's tragic and fan favorites leave the show early.

I didn't like Harika at first, but throughout the show she has shown character development and siding with the good cast. Tolga reminds me of Randall from Recess and they even look a like. Sarp is without a doubt the worst - he's a bully to his half-brother and to others.

Kardeslerim is very addictive. There are some unnecessary subplots that most of us don't care rewatching unless if its the siblings' parents before they died. Still a nice show.

Please Do Not Again

It is the worst production in Turkish TV history. It has bad acting, bad scenario, cliche soundtracks. If Istanbul was in South-East Asia, we would definitely see a tsunami in this drama. A big tsunami that only affected high school students.

There's a story...

... but extremely stup!d, that's all.

Watchable but it is one of those turkish series that make the viewers angry at mostly no logic scenes. This series is intended for kids and entertainment for mothers, a respite from their daily bulk of laundry and household chores.

After watching up to 47 episode:

TRUST ME, should you insist on watching this series, just watch the first and last 15 minutes only of every episodes, I did, and you won't miss anything. Everything in between are just cats fight, the annoying Sengul plus the super boring romantics of Ouljan and Harika. That's all there is in this series. You can also watch it on 2.0X speed.

The excitement, if at all, is that all episodes ends with someone getting hit by a bullet, stabbed, someone's head hitting a pavement, falling from some floors of a building, getting hit by a car, etc - - - practically all episodes end with someone getting hurt or killed, those were the cliffhangers.

This series could have been finished in 7 episodes max. Nothing interesting tbh.

1 star juz cuz I'm watching it as a pastime.

The one turkish series that ends in tragedy in every episode, and if the writers think of abstaining from a tragic ending (accidents), it is not exciting at all.

School kids who acted like they are school kids and adults acting like school kids. Horrible acting even from the adult characters.

Shenggul's over-acting, mostly annoying.

Akif, I've seen him in better roles in other series.

Nebahat's character who proved that blondes are naturally dumb.

Every ending has every character getting hurt, if not dead. Who finds that exciting?

Revealing Akif's murderous unintent is the only story, once revealed, the series is done!

No grip to the storyline, just repetitive misfortunes and accidents. Nothing to be thrilled about.

Watch it as a past time, on your most indolent hours of the day, like, you just really wanted to waste your time.

Absolutely Ridiculous

I can't even begin to describe how horrible this series is. I started watching it because everyone kept mentioning how wonderful it was. It's great if you're a teenager and want to watch nonsense. Like others said, if you're curious, just watch the last 10 minutes of each episode. Trust me, you're not missing anything. That's what I did for the last 75 episodes hoping to see the villains pay for their horrible deeds, but it never happens. Totally unrealistic plot. Don't waste your time unless you're a teenager and enjoy high school drama. Will not continue to watch any of the new episodes. Wasted enough time.

Kardeslerim...

The performances of high drama young plays are very good and high quality, and the commitment of the brothers and their holding tightly to each other with every difficulty is well processed...

Very weak

Waste of time, senseless provoking . Endless repetition of same misfortune and accidents. Highschool bullying, out of law city and naïve characters. Worst soap ever except for a few cute new faces.

Just Don't waste your time!

I'm in love with turkish series and movies. They never let me down.

But this...Its a waste of time, it's giving me second hand embarassment. Its a nonsense. They just keep fighting over and over again for no reason, the characters are extremely dumb, watch this series if you wanna get angry really fast. As more people said, you could watch just the first 15 minutes and the last, and you wouldnt miss anything. Thats just some clear bs. I prefer rewatching some series than watching this one. At first it seemed like a good idea, but boy I've been wrong.

I've never left any review if I didnt have anything good to say, but this movie was that bad that I couldnt stop myself. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME <3.

My cup of tea

I'm an aspiring writer myself, when it comes to teenage love stories kardeslerim just exceeds expectation. I've also fallen inlove with AsDor, they're the reason I couldn't wait to go home from work to watch them. Then there's AyBer, two people with strong, and funny caharacters. And the not so typical love story of Harika and Ogulcan(though Ogulcan will have to work hard for that).

I just wish AsDor will not be separated. Otherwise, It will break my heart.
