Fox Entertainment Global is turning back time with a new international format pilot titled Young Again. The show comes from The Masked Singer creator Wonwoo Park and uses tech to de-age senior contestants who then embark on dates as younger versions of themselves.
Nathalie Wogue, SVP, Global Formats, at Fox Entertainment Global shared a sneak peek at the show during a Deadline-moderated session with other formats execs, which took place on the morning of the first-ever Mip London.
Fox is out to market with the format and looking for partners. Notably, the show is not necessarily destined for the Fox broadcast network and could end up getting made in an international market first.
Fox has a first-look development deal with Wonwoo Park, who brought it the idea, Wogue explained.

Hulu will continue to be the U.S. streaming home for Fox’s “The Simpsons,” “Family Guy,” “The Masked Singer” and other shows for at least the next four years.
Fox Corp.’s Fox Entertainment and Disney’s Hulu announced a multiyear renewal of their content partnership, encompassing in-season streaming rights for Fox’s programming slate. The agreement also includes the extension of the marketing alliance the two companies forged in January 2023, under which Fox and Hulu branding jointly share presence across all Fox-owned and external consumer touchpoints “to align with live and on-demand viewing messaging of Fox content.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The deal renewal runs for a four-year term, sources said.
Fox Corp. does not operate its own subscription streaming service and has leaned on its Hulu partnership to monetize content in the subscription VOD space. Separately, Fox operates Tubi, a free, ad-supported streamer.

Exclusive: Fox Entertainment and Hulu are staying in business together in a major way.
The two companies have struck a new multiyear content partnership that includes in-season streaming rights for Fox’s programming slate.
The broadcast network and the Disney-owned streamer also have expanded their multiplatform marketing arrangement in the deal, which sources tell Deadline is worth more than $1.5B over four years with the ad-load included.
Fox got in early to renew the deal – the previous arrangement was unveiled in January 2023 and Deadline understands this new pact runs through 2029. It gives the network a bedrock to build out its slate of originals including dramas such as Rescue Hi-Surf and Murder in a Small Town, comedies including Animal Control and reality series such as The Masked Singer, The Floor and Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef.

Name That Tune has struggled as Season 4 started. To make things worse, the show underwent a schedule change this week. Fans noticed that there was already a rerun, only a few episodes into the season. Here is what you need to know.
Why Name That Tune Was Missing A New Episode This Week
Fox brought back Name That Tune for its fourth season with Jane Krakowski and Randy Jackson as the hosts. The season returned on June 3; just a month later, there are already reruns. It seems strange to already see missed weeks so early in the season.
YouTube
This week, Fox aired a rerun for Name That Tune, but never made a social media post or an announcement about the change. Most fans tuned in and realized then that it wasn’t a new episode. But, why did Fox not air a new episode this week?
There is some concern about the ratings.
