"Ark" has all the elements I look for in my favorite sort of sci-fi video: an intriguing setup, a mystery and interesting characters coupled with great sets, nice effects, fine, well-paced direction and good acting (nice to see Renée O'Connor kicking butt again, by the way).
But what about the rest of it? What I've seen is barely a start! This project really needs to pack on some bulk. It could be made into a wholly enjoyable made-for-TV movie (I'd settle for direct-to-video), summer series or (at the very LEAST) a fun web-series.
Please don't leave us hanging by a thread! It wouldn't take a lot to take the fragmentary part that we've seen and turn it into a very enjoyable whole. 8 out of 10 for what I've seen so far...

For a TV Episode SciFi it looks promising. No one knows at this site why it was discontinued. HULU does all 9 episodes. MY CRITIQUE as of these 9 Episodes: I'm glad the cliché Hollywood stuff is not visible. There aren't a Bunch of people with each having their own ethnic and personality traits to create the typical Soap Opera in Space shows typically seen. Filming was easy with the typical low-lighting and lack of color. I hope this SciFi Re-appears as is. I don't need some actor from Arkansas playing some beer-drinking genius that argues with a Latino-Babe with lots of guns. That kind of Hollywood crap really ruins a good story.

Starring and produced by Renee O'Connor (Xena: Warrior Princess) through her ROC Pictures, the characters in "Ark" find themselves on a huge spaceship, apparently light-years from Earth.
Connie (O'Connor) took a nap on her couch in 2008 and awakened aboard the mysterious craft. Daryl played by Adam Cardon (Thor's Hammer, Days of Our Lives), is a young astronaut whose last recollection is being on Earth in the year 1959. Both find evidence that they are believed dead by their loved ones back home. Their deaths--so it might seem--faked.
Echoing Harlan Ellison's "Starlost" with a twist or two, "Ark" is an intriguing Sci-Fi thriller which explores the character's attempts to cope with the immediacy of their plight and find answers to the enigma of where they are, why and how they came to be there, and who--or what--is onboard with them.
The production seems to have encountered financing problems and I have not been able to find the series in it's entirety. The first 45 minute episode may be seen as a series of "webisodes" on Hulu as of this date. I guarantee you'll be wanting to see more. I certainly do. Let's hope the full series is not far off.
