I am on S2:E8. Three more seasons to go. The first season episodes were all well formulated and produced. But as Season Two goes along, the stories are not well-told and some I have seen before on several other series. Fresh stories would be nice. They start to get monotonous in tone and the pace is so slow I find myself fast forwarding to get to the end. I don't mind people declaring their loved ones couldn't possibly have committed murder (despite tons of evidence) but when they almost deify them, why not cut that part out and talk about the lives of the victims instead. And...the music. Yes, it sounds like a dirge. Like the episode S2:E8. I would expect some background music, and for it to be respectful yes, but this music is so awful it just underlines how awful the storytelling is. Go back to Season One and see what was done right. Season One was great.
Hard to understand whats being said I am Scottish and hard to understand the American accents ,and because of the music makes it hard to hear what's being said.
Do the producers or whoever is in charge of the sound ever read these review?
Doesn't look like it as people have been complaining for year's about loud music on these crime programs , but nothing ever seems to be done about it.
Subtitles would be helpful but their not always present.
Hopefully someday we will be rid of the monkey music which ruins the whole atmosphere on these programs.
Some how I have to write six hundred characters to complete this review which I find rather tedious to say the least.
Sorry, your review is to short it has to be six hundred characters.

Season 14 episode 2 was the only episode that made me angry. The woman who was the daughter of the abuser had no sympathy or empathy for the child that was murdered. All she did was sing her mother's praises, which made me sick!!! She should be punished!!!
I believe with all my heart she helped kill that child!!! She is a carbon copy of her mother. She sat there and lied and lied about how the little girl was killed. First she said she was killed by hitting her head on the tub and said they wrapped her and duct tape and then poured acid on her, then she said she believed the duct tape is what killed her. They probably had duct tape on her to keep her from screaming and getting away while they beat her over and over again. You can't tell me she didn't see or witness any of those beatings. She was probably part of it and enjoyed every minute of it. That woman made me sick she didn't even care that little girl lost her life and for the loved ones of that little girl. I've never miss angry in my life listen to that stupid woman talk. The only thing that kept her out of jail is because there was no eyewitnesses there that saw her join in on the beating s. Again her mother protected her just like she did when she ask her mother's friend "what the hell are you doing here?" Obviously her mother made her a spoiled rotten brat and that's why she was so loyal to her monster mother.
