What a fun game to play on PSP back in 2013/2014. In the game, 4 teams have to stop Dr Eggman Nega from freeing a creature from the other dimension - the Ifrit. I can't say the story is the strongest aspect, but the gameplay is so enjoyable. There are 3 modes per location: Regular race, Challenge and Boss battle. The second mode has mini games such as Tag, King of the hill, collect chao and even fighting. There are 8 characters in total, 2 per 1 team. So as a result you have 4 stories to complete (Although you have to complete them twice.) As for the graphics, for a mid 2000s portable console game it's ok, may look generic, but the developers tried their best to make sure the world looks as creative as possible for a small screen. The models are good, but it seems that they lack mouths, but then again, it's not that distracting due to the screen size. I also like the fact that you can win costumes for each character by completing each task, like using the ability several amount of times, running as many miles as possible, winning races and completing stories. You can also get cards for each achievement and all of them have a colorful Sonic related image, which include the characters, items and backgrounds from both Modern and classic eras. Overall, a great game to play if you want to have a quick race with Sonic and his rivals. Although the only issue is that the boss battles can be hard (especially level 3 with dice), but it's still really fun for everyone who likes Sonic, Races and even puzzle fans, cause it's not as easy to defeat the boss and you need to think quick, but nothing to complicating.
