Young man leaves the work-a-day world behind to pursue his dreams

I saw this film at the Oxford Ohio film festival and was blown away. It is funny, and deeply touching. The writer/producer/director was in the audience, and I could not believe how much of himself he poured into the film. I could not have been that honest about my life, let alone sit in a room and while others watched it. This is a great slice of life/ indie music documentary film, but not like anything you would expect. I highly recommend this film, but it is not for children.

The film centers on the Eric, a talented musician, struggling to pursue his dreams musically and romantically, while building a life life on his own terms. It sounds cliché, but this film is anything but. It is hard describe how strange and funny the film is and do it justice, but the talking Chiquaquas are hilarious.

Eric in the film is real, it is not an act. When you meet him in person, you realize that if anything the film failed to capture the full intensity of the person.
