Never reviewed shows before but this show is remarkable!! The story, production, cast, script are on point! Setting the bar very high for future arabic series. Great job.
Will keep you engaged in watching till the very last minute!

This series absolutely engulfed me. The story is addictive, the actors are next level. The characters are so distinctly fleshed out and the actors completely embody them. The lead actor (Kosai Khauli) is incredibly strong, but he doesn't overshadow anyone, they are all so talented and work together harmoniously. Though honestly, it's worth it alone to watch the series to see him deliver the line "God forgive us" in 50 different ways.
The story has everything: drama, suspense, romance, comedy, pearls of wisdom. I could watch 10 seasons of this and not get bored. The characters are so soulful and so human, I loved watching every expression and line delivery.
I so hope that there will be other seasons of it and I will wait with anticipation. I was enamored with the actors and kept googling them wondering, "Who is this person? What else have they done?" This is the only Lebanese show I've ever watched and it was great to get immersed into a completely different culture. Especially if you're American and used to standard American series, this is just a fascinating look into another part of the world.
Also, it was refreshingly wonderful to see romance portrayed with almost no physical touch. The yearning and passion were so strong, yet the actors communicated this with hardly a touch. It's interesting, living in an oversexed society such as the US, to see how powerful subtlety can be.
One of the best and most engrossing series I've seen.

Bro this show is a must watch its actually so good. The acting was phenomenal and i felt so emotionally attached. I finished this show months ago and still find myself thinking about it. This show is underrated and more people should watch it. Love love love this show!! :)
Exellent acting from Nadine Nassib Njiem and Kosai Khauli
The script it's very engaging and it's very good acción series that narrated a very good story
But my issue with this show it's that there is no charisma or attraction between the two main characters
Nadine looks so beautiful, distinguished and you as an audience don't wants this gorgeous woman to get romantically involved with this disgusting guy
Of course that's his role but they should it Choose a different actor.
Lead actors are all exceptionally talented and make you feel as if you are living the story and they are talking to you. Sadly, the plot is realistic.
I'm usually very critical and would give Arabic series's very low rating... actually I don't even rate them. But this was really good. The main characters in this show got me very hooked and their acting was so real that I felt sick to my stomach, my heart was racing and my hands sweating... it's rarely any series would get me filled with all those feelings. So Bravoo!
The only down side was the last few episodes where it felt that it was just pulling and unnecessary length of some scenes. I understand that they might have targeted the show for Ramadan so they had to have 30 episodes, but they could have added something to the last episodes to cover that time instead of lengthy boring parts.
I would definitely be keeping an eye for the same actors and similar series. Thank you and well done! 👏

Lebanese soap operas are seldom interesting as they tend to go on forever, repetitive to the point of tediousness. This one is no exception to that rule. This series deals with a common theme that has been used before by the same production group, drug trafficking. It makes viewers wonder if that's a major pastime in that country. The production methods are very westernized and slick. The story however lacks much substance and is very similar to a previous soap that dealt with the same theme. The sets used even appear to be the same garishly decorated homes and country villas. Like all Middle-Eastern soaps, this is heavy on the family dynamics and romance fantasies. There is a lot of crying and expressions of undying love and loyalty for all family. The chain smoking lead actor single-handedly supports the tobacco industry, and the lead actress plays a kind of super-heroine, with over-plumped lips from collagen, who can overcome any challenge. If you are into long drawn out soap operas, then this would be a good match. It plays like a Latin-American Telenovela, but one that's 30 episodes long!
I don't leave reviews for anything. Don't let this series pass. The directors need to translate this series and air it internationally.

Good Lebanese drama with excellent filming and good acting. The writing left obvious gaffs and lacked some obvious mistakes in plot. Nevertheless; made for good binge viewing with a taste of Lebanese.

What an amazing show with an amazing story. Acting that pulls you in and a love drama that keeps you watching. This is the first show in Arabic I've seen in Arabic with English subtitles. Just wow! Please stop reading this and go watch. Trust me.

One of the best Lebanese series, so far, I have watched. Interesting story line .Emotions were potrayed so well, by all the charecters. Awesome chemistry by the artists, who acted as Safi and Sama. Clean , can be watched with the family, with no embarrassing scenes . A must watch series.
What happens to Warda, Rasmiye and Haram? , The are left unpunished. Few artists , I have watched them in , other series, but their acting in 2020 , was amazing. Kudos to the director for bringing out the best . Hope to see more good work from this production house. Hope the series does not continue with a sequel, the effect of the first season would cease hold the enjoyment of watching.

2 stars for the plot and Khauli's acting. Njeim did well as Hayat. The series was very badly executed and directed. Very western influenced/copied, however, they failed to deliver. A lot of discrepancies and holes.
Maybe next time they can do better.
