Guy on bench

In my opinion, the best acting in this movie comes from the guy in the black shirt, in the gas station scene sitting in the far left corner of the screen, on the bench. The way this young actor captures what it feels like to be the friend of someone who doesnt even acknowledge your existence, or want to talk to you. To be honest this scene had me in tears because of how relateable it is. And this is why i see a bright future for this aspiring young actor, because of the way he nailed that role. Even though he only appeared in one scene he made the movie ten times better, atleast in my opinion.

An actors film

This is not a film that comes along every week. A Danish film that really becomes worth mentioning because of the actors. What is even more rare is that the two leading roles is played by two women that are acting in their first feature film.

There's Solvej (Ragnhild Kaasgaard) an elderly sick woman, transporting herself in an electric wheelchair, and her young friend Kate (Isabella Møller Hansen) who helps her, first of very egotistical reasons, but they really ends up being good friends. Making this film so spectacular is one of the very best actors in Denmark, Kristian Halken, having an important role.

Now the film wants to have a critics ending, film people still thinks that's the way to be nominated to prizes, and probably they're right.

But none the less, this film is very recommendable, and it would be a crime to write more about the story.

Just this, this it's an actor's film, they are fantastic so therefore recommended, see it.

Driving around on a wheelchair selling apinkillers

Solvej is what we all hate. A fat middle age, or a little above, going on the dole, being fat and sick. But she's not lost behind a lorry. She gets her medicine, which she drivs around in her wheelchair with, together with her litle dog, selling th drugs to kids and truckdrivers for their recreation and suffering.

Miss Viborg is set in the small town of Viborg in Denmark, is both tragic and funny and so extremely well played. It's funny, quirky and a good addition to the Nordic noir comedies, which I love.

When Solvej is hit by a burglar, her life changes. 17 year old neighbor Kate comes into her life with her problems.

A well made comedy which gives perspectives on life. Well worth a watch.

Warmhearted comedy about quirky and beautiful human souls.

This movie really warmed our hearts with its loving and humorous characters. It is a sweet story of improbable friendship in the scandinavian suburb/ghetto, a young girl and an older social outcast lady.

I highly recommend this if you are in the mood for a loving and fun movie. I get wibes from "Lars and the real gril" and "A man called Ove." These kind of movies are rare and far apart, and it is a joy to come across such mastery.

The film is beautifully shot- a piece of art.

A feelgood film without the clichés

This film has a lot of darkness but I still consider it a feelgood movie. It's a bit of a copy of the French film The Hedgehog but not a ripoff since there are several differences between the two. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys "dark" humour. It's about a woman who hasn't been able to let go of things from the past but at the same time she has a hidden goal in her life, a life she leads on her own. Her daily routine is to drive around the neighborhood supplying several people with the medicine she has doctors prescription for but doesn't use herself. When circumstances force her to interact with others in a more personal way things start to happen. I laughed many times even if this film has some darkness in it.
