Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Just weeks later, the studio has handed the reins of G.I. Joe 2 over to to director Jon Chu (Justin Bieber: Never Say Never), who will direct using a script penned by Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
Now, Deadline reports that Dwayne Johnson (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Snitch) is in talks to join the cast of the follow-up to G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, and would portray Roadblock, heavy machine gunner, cook and cousin of Heavy Duty, who was played by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje in the first film.
