I found this show both frustrating and strangely addictive. The pacing is a bit uneven, some moments drag, and the plot isn't exactly groundbreaking-but there's something about it that kept me watching. And that something is the female lead, Jung Da-bin.
She's a total puzzle. Sassy, rude, overly dramatic, sometimes even a brat-but somehow, she's still ridiculously charming. Even when she's being difficult, you just get her. She carries the entire show on her shoulders in my opinion, making it way more entertaining than it has any right to be.
Then there's the male lead-shy, reserved, the complete opposite of her chaos. Their dynamic shouldn't work, but it does. It's that classic push-and-pull, opposites-attract kind of thing, and honestly, I ate it up.
Would I say this is a must-watch? Not really. But if you like a high school drama where the main girl has way too much attitude and the main guy just awkwardly goes along with it, Live On might surprise you.

To be honest, I was a little skeptical at first when I realized that this show only has 8 episodes because I don't like too fast-paced stories.
Surprisingly, despite the low number of total episodes, the story never felt too rushed. As a result, the main couple doesn't reach the level of "total lovebirds" as couples in other dramas or the super adorable second lead couple of this show, but that's ok.
In the end, I loved pretty much everything about it - from the cast to the characters, the soundtrack, the message of this show and the warmth I've felt throughout the whole drama thanks to the amazing friendships depicted in it.
The only reason I removed one star is because the plot itself isn't totally new and a little predictable.
However, I've never felt like this show was missing something and although the plot is predictable, I was never bored because it was fun to watch all the character and relationship developments. The fact that the perpetrator of the anonymous messages isn't revealed until the last third of the show adds some suspense to the drama.
Conclusion: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this show.

This is another highschool love story drama but it's really fun to watch! i like the characters esp the second lead couple they're so cute! ho rang's backstory is kinda predictable but still interesting. their developments are good too! and it only has 8 eps so it's pretty fast-paced. overall it's good and it's better than many highschool dramas so!
Korean Drama "Live On" had an interesting prompt for the story, but somehow it ended up being boring.
The one thing that, at least for me, was off was the fact that the characters, well, most of them, acted like adults rather than teenagers. They even presented their problems as being adult-like (see the second couple). Another thing was that the drama focused on the mystery that, in the end, was not well handled and didn't create the momentum that it was needed. Thus, the drama left out a lot of the other plot lines that were added here and there, like the family drama of the main characters.
Other than that, the performances were really good from everyone in the cast. The settings and the broadcasting club idea were original, fresh and a nice touch.
So, overall, four out of ten.

A cheerful drama, by which I mean that it is sunny and balanced. The few episodes turned out to be no problem, because I was worried that the series would play at a fast pace, but it was in a very consistent sequence.
The subject of bullying in this format is widespread, but it was kept exciting, because the perpetrator was not visible until the end. The reason for their revenge was unfortunately superficial and diffuse. Some moments, however, have remained a mystery to me.
The connection between the two bullying offenders was therefore not transparent, at least it was not possible to see how the new perpetrator noticed the old bullying incident, perhaps even involved it, because she knew far too many details of the day. Moreover, for me, what happened that day is shadowy because it was presented only indirectly.
The actors have put themselves in the role well, the trivial behavior they have really made great. The wall of all pain was presented in gestures, facial expressions, speech and appropriate habits, and this was the focus. However, I had the feeling that the trivial was not completely abandoned. If this can be defined as mature love, then it is inappropriate for a love of youth. I would have liked more emotions like uncontrolled joy and happiness.
The little moments and pictures were heartwarming, so much detail was brought into it. A beautiful transformation of their relationship was noticeable and both have taken the trouble to understand each other what they have succeeded in doing.
Once again it has been proven that communication is the key to solving the problems. The series was well thought out from start to finish. I hope I'll be able to see the shot players more often on my screen.
