Whenever I remembered that Tuesday was a Wayward Guide day, I immediately got excited and couldn't wait to watch the days episode. From the very beginning I was hooked on the story, and after every episode I was on the edge of my seat, already antsy for the next weeks episode.
It was so interesting to theorize and then watch the actual events unfold. More than once I gasped audibly at my screen. There were plot twists galore!
Artemis and Paul were such a charming and funny duo, from their Twin-Tuition to how snarky they were in the podcast (completely worth listening to, as well). Not to mention, Diane as the Mayor was probably the best casting decision of the 21st century.
This series has been one of the highlights of this quarantine so far. The Tin Can Brothers never fail!

I truly enjoyed Wayward Guide. It had the perfect overall balance of quirky and mystery with the perfect amount of gore where it's not overly-gory, but gory enough that it adds a layer of depth to the plot.
The casting was very well done in my opinion. The cast includes actors you may have seen in other shows, such as Darren Criss and Sean Astin. On top of that, the cast is topped off with comedians suck as Mary Kate Wiles and theater actors such as Cassie Silva and other theater, specifically Starkid, actors such as Lauren Lopez, Joey Ritcher, Dylan Saunders, Corey Dorris, Nick Lang, among so many others.
I do admit, some of the acting and dialogue was a bit too much for me. I am big in the theater scene and enjoy the whimsy and extra-ness that comes with theater acting, but some of that extra-ness didn't translate as well to the screen as it does on the stage. With short episodes, there is not a lot of room to fit deep plots, and that caused some episodes and scenes to feel rushed. It felt they were trying too hard to come off as quirky.
However, the show is very engaging. Each episode ends on a cliffhanger, which keeps you engaged and wondering what comes next. It is my favorite show, and is definitely a must watch!

I don't have words to describe how great this series are. It has a consistent story, but the mysteries left answered keep you wanting more and more. The acting is stunning as well. If you plan on watching it, I really recommend listening to the podcast as well. It adds so much more and each episode (and Mary Kate's voice is perfect for podcasts). Also, it has werewolves, everything with werewolves is cool
Wayward Guide for the untrained eye is honestly one of the greatest series ever made. The Tin Can Brothers worked so hard to make this series the best they could, and it paid off entirely! The story is so well written and so interesting and always leaves me needing more!
It has an amazing cast of at a very of people, from the legendary Sean Astin, to Darren Criss. As well as faces from the likes of Shipwrecked Comedy, such Mary Kate Wiles and Sean Persaude and Team Starkid members like Dylan Saunders and Lauren Lopez.
Every member of the cast is INCREDIBLE and their acting skills have ALWAYS amazed me
And the TCB!!! Their writing for both the show and the podcast is AMAZING and they deserve so much recognition for this so if you haven't go and subscribe to their YouTube channel and check out Wayward Guide!!! (And support their other projects too 😉)
Oh and the Mayor is pretty cute- :)

I only made it five minutes into episode one. I was completely bored. Seems like try hard quirkiness and awful dialogue.
