Frightvision is an indie horror anthology.
It contains five tales. Some of them are better than others. Varying running times make some of the stories more interesting than others.
If I had to chose I would probably say that the first story was the best, then the fourth story. The other three, while alright, run a little bit long and slow down the pacing.
Rebecca Rhinehart is our host, Dr. Boobinstein. She introduces each tale. A lot of familiar faces show up including Julie Ann Prescott and Drew Marvick (Mudercise, XXX-Mas).
The DVD is released through Wild-Eye. I don't know about anyone else, but my copy has some audio missing during the fourth segment for a minute or two.
Anyway, Frightvision isn't my favorite horror anthology, but I'm sure indie horror fans will appreciate it.

Normie Review: Go away. This movie isn't for you. Don't leave a review.
Weirdo Review (for those of us who've liked at least one Tromaville or Chris Seaver movie): I like micro-budget, home-made movies when they're fun to watch and made with effort and love. This anthology had a pretty solid first story -- I liked the concept and it was kinda fun. However, the second story was so bad - like really the worst of the worst with none of the fun micro-budget charm we look for in these type movies - that I basically ran out of patience, so when the third story was lackluster, I just quit and found something else to watch. I like to support low-low-low-budget movies, but this one isn't worth your time past the first story.

Frightvision is a horror anthology that tries to blend horror and comedy, and doesn't really succeed with either one. This low budget anthology offers a variety of stories, some more sexually explicit than others but it's neither erotic nor entertaining. I found myself bored more often than not.
The acting is very low grade, painfully bad, which is fine, I can take campy acting, but this seems particularly bad, and it seems like it's a trend with a lot of modern low budget flicks where they're not even trying. The movie looks, and feels cheap. I had a hard time enjoying this one, really can't recommend it.

A fun and entertaining lo-fi anthology. A good variety of subjects and lots of laughs.
Or was it really financed. I have seen better acting in homemade amateur POV porn. This thing (movie, show, venue or even cutting floor clippings is to generous) was atrocious. Terrible sound, poor effects, bad lighting and the people trying to play the assigned parts are just bad, so bad. I could not finish it, and even of the half I refused to watch was deemed a Oscar performance, it would have even less redeeming value.
I get what the attempt was, but was very obviously a cover for " film makers to score some dates from some mediocre actresses. Just pass on to something else, you sanity may depend on it.
