New Delhi, Aug 18 (Ians) Reliance Jio on Friday announced the launch of Jio prepaid plans with a bundled Netflix subscription.

A Netflix subscription is already available on select Jio Postpaid and Jio Fiber plans, but this is the first time that a Netflix subscription will be available on a prepaid plan, the company said.

A Netflix mobile-only plan will come bundled with Jio’s Rs 1,099 plan, whereas a Rs 1,499 plan will give subscribers access to Netflix Basic. Both plans have a validity of 84 days.

With this launch, over 400 million Jio prepaid customers will get the option of availing a Netflix subscription through a Jio Prepaid bundled plan.

Actor Kartik Aaryan, producer Bhushan Kumar and director Anees Bazmee have reunited for “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” the next instalment of the successful horror-comedy Bollywood franchise.

Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starred in Priyadarshan’s “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” (2007) that means labyrinth, a remake of Fazil’s Malayalam-language film “Manichitrathazhu” (1993), starring Mohanlal and Shobana.

“Manichithrathazhu” was also remade in the Kannada-language as “Apthamitra” (2004), starring Vishnuvardhan, in the Tamil and Telugu languages as “Chandramukhi” (2005), starring Rajinikanth, and in the Bengali language as “Rajmohol” (2005), starring Prosenjit Chatterjee.

“Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,” starring Aaryan and Tabu, was one of the few box office successes in an otherwise forgettable 2022 for Bollywood, earning $33 million. The film cemented Aaryan’s position as one of Bollywood’s A-listers.

The franchise premise turns on a malevolent female spirit haunting a heritage property and the efforts of the protagonist to exorcise it.

Mumbai, Feb 19 (Ians) As his film ‘Shehzada’ is all set to hit the screens, Bollywood’s chocolate boy Kartik Aaryan paid a visit to the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai to seek blessings for the movie. However, his car was towed away as he had left it in a no-parking zone.

The Mumbai Police Twitter handle shared a picture of his Lamborghini and captioned it with the popular monologue from Kartik’s film ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’.

The caption read: “Problem? Problem yeh thi ki the car was parked on the wrong side! Don’t do the ‘Bhool’ of thinking that ‘Shehzadaas’ can flout traffic rules.”

The traffic police blurred the number of the actor’s vehicle. The police did not share details about the challan.

Mumbai, Feb 18 (Ians) Bollywood singer Nikhita Gandhi, who is known for her latest tracks including ‘Kya Baat Hai’ from the Vicky Kaushal-Kiara Advani starrer ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ and ‘Jugnu’ with Badshah, recalled her recent performance with Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor in Delhi.

Mumbai, Feb 2 (Ians) Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon told ‘Indian Idol 13’ contestant Sonakshi Kar that her voice resembles with late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar’s when she sings.

The Saturday episode of the singing reality show will be welcoming the cast of, ‘Shehzada’ – Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon for the ‘Girls vs Boys’ special episode.

While Kartik will support the ‘Boys’ team, Kriti will root for the ‘Girls’ team.

To make the competition even more playful and interesting, the contestant who gives their best performance will be given the ‘Shehzada Crown’ by the celebrity guests.

One of the forerunners in the bid to win this crown was contestant Sonakshi Kar from Kolkata who will be paired with ‘Wadali ki Shaan,’ Navdeep Wadali from Amritsar. Her melodious performance on the song, ‘Beeti Na Bitai Raina’ from the 1972 film ‘Parichay’ was appreciated.

A romantic scene turned into a comedy moment, when ‘Bigg Boss 16’ contestant Archana Gautam called Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan, who came on the sets of the show to promote his film ‘Shehzada’, “bhaiyya”.

Archana was told by filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan to enact a romantic scene with Kartik, but her slip of tongue during the act left everyone bursting into laughter.

Farah said that Archana is making ginger tea in the kitchen with Kartik by her side.

In the promo shared by the channel Colors on Instagram, Archana was seen making tea and Kartik put his arms across her waist.

She then tells him: “Haye chhodo na mummy dekh legi.”

He refuses to let her go and then Archana says: “Kaunse gate se aye ho bhaiya.”

Kartik is then seen breaking into laughter as the scene comes to a pause.

Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan will debut as a producer with his upcoming film “Shehzada.”

Aaryan joins producers Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind and Aman Gill. The production companies are T-Series Films, part of their 100-film slate, Allu Entertainment and Haarika & Hassine Creations.

Directed by Rohit Dhawan (“Dishoom”), the film stars Aaryan, Kriti Sanon (“Bhediya”), Manisha Koirala (“India Sweets and Spices”), Paresh Rawal (“The Storyteller”) and Sachin Khedekar (“Dhamaka”).

“Shehzada” is an adaptation of Trivikram Srinivas’ Telugu-language action comedy drama “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,” also produced by Arvind, which was one of the biggest Indian hits of 2020.

In what was otherwise a bleak 2022 for Bollywood, Aaryan headlined T-Series’ comedy-horror film “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,” that was one of the top earners for the industry.

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani-starrer ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, a musical lovestory, is all set to hit the screens on June 29, 2023.

Directed by Sameer Vidwans, ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ brings Kartik and Kiara together for the second time after the blockbuster ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’.

Details related to ‘Satya Prem Ki Katha’, which also marks a collaboration between Nge and Namah Pictures, are still kept under wraps.

Actor Kartik Aaryan, who celebrated Indias 75th Independence Day, is now back on the sets of ‘Shehzada’. Kartik took to Instagram Stories, where he shared a picture of himself sitting in front of a mirror in his vanity van. A black cup and some make-up products are kept in front of him.

The 31-year-old star captioned the picture: “Chhutti khatam kaam shuru #Shehzada.”

‘Shehzada’, which is directed by Rohit Dhawan, also stars Kriti Sanon. It is the Hindi remake of the blockbuster hit ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ starring Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde and Tabu.
