Igra na vyzhivanie

Nothing is changed after 30 years of democracy, and this movie is here to prove that. It's not about Russia, it's about all post communist countries. It's about cruelty and hate against all that is different.

Igra na vyzhivanie is a good Russian series. The Russian analogue of Lost to some extent. But unfortunately, the writers had enough fuse only for the first season. The second season is not exciting in any way, it is shorter and more boring. And most importantly, he almost does not answer the open questions of the first season. The first season can be recommended to everyone, the first 5-6 episodes will definitely be exciting. The cast is not the most stellar, but the actors cope well with their tasks. The main problem of Igra na vyzhivanie is that the script of the second season is not thought out. He had to answer all the questions, and he just ignores them. And the finale of season 2 in general causes only a cringe. In season 3, there is no faith at all.

Good surprise.

What starts as a 'survival reality show', turns into a roller-coaster with so many twists and turns that you never see what's coming next.

Lots of shocking moments, but overall a very tense and exciting story, with fantastic production value and good acting for the most part.

Not everything is great though. Some of the storylines are a bit lackluster, the writing is off in some parts with some plot holes, and a couple of the characters are just plain silly. I found season 1 to be fantastic, but season 2 loses a bit of the magic, but it's still entertaining and the production value maintains its quality. It's just a different approach to the story, to which i preferred season 1.

All in all, a very thrilling ride, hard to watch at times, but original and exciting throughout. Have to single out Linda Lapinsh for an extraordinary job on the role(s), as she is mesmerizing throughout both seasons.

Looking forward to season 3 where i hope they manage to present a satisfactory conclusion to the story, resolving all the plot lines. And hopefully in the near future!

A very genre-oriented series where the Russians revealed all their cruelty, profanity, hatred of people and LGBT people, bestial attitude towards women, unmotivated violence in the spirit of Elijah Roth, allusions to the cannibal Holocaust, majestic nature and locations, the wild atmosphere of the first "Wrong turn". Show about survival-as an example of Social Darwinism in modern Russia. Tourists don't belong here . Very wild, bloody, and uncompromising . There will be no mercy . A rating of +21, definitely .

A Molotov cocktail of a TV- series when Saw meets Lost with a pinch of Zombie Lynch and all that kind of cool stuff. 4-5 locally famous professional actors are outplayed by the rest (becoming instantly famous some of them after this). Is season 2 coming? Please!
