So far I like it and the whole concept. I'm in the 3rd episode now and my one complaint is it seems the show keeps bailing them out giving them what they need.
I think it would have been much more compelling just leaving them there without constantly giving them the tools, the supplies and even a bridge builder every time they get behind. It's still only episode 3.
I'd rather a more man vs nature and learn to survive on your own type thing.
This show was not nearly as bad as people are making it out to be. It wasn't the greatest show of all time but it's 6 episodes with kind of a fun concept and its just good reality tv. There's some participants you love and some you hate, but that's kind of the point right? Some of the people are trying too hard to get noticed and make it big, and the rules are a little sketchy but it's a fun, quick watch.
After the unmitigated disaster of Eden (2016), Channel 4's last great wilderness-challenge-slash-social-experiment-slash-reality-show, I suppose we ought to have known that merely adding a grab-the-cash element would only make The Bridge worse rather than better. And it didn't disappoint in that regard.
The Bridge was yet another dollop of dull, dishonest, unutterably futile rubbish - quintessential Channel 4 viewing, in fact.
I just binge watched the first season and found it very satisfying and entertaining. I liked the fresh idea and location set up. The cast was a good fit for the show and it is fun to see how everyone wants to play the game. Interesting character dynamics develop over the 20 days and I found myself rooting for serval players.
It was amazing to see how much damage a lie can cause.
I was wondering if I was in their shoes what could be done to win the game? The problem is there are too many players left at the end of the game. Unfortunately there can only be one official winner but it takes a group effort to build the 800 foot bridge.
Maybe season two will address this problem. It has two teams going for a bigger prize.

Wanted to like this show, beautiful location and great idea but totally ruined by the producers throwing spanners in the works, trying to create extra drama..
