Fun indie film

Checked this out after learning it was made with no budget during Covid and a 2 man crew. Fun little movie with a lot of first time actors. Definitely inspiring to see what people can make with no budget. Story was fun and acting was pretty good! Overall I'd recommend to anyone who's interested in micro budget films and what people can make these days with next to nothing. I read the two man crew used a mirror less camera, one LED light and a sound mixer - that's it! A lot of the teen actors were first time actors. Sure it feels ultra low budget but was pretty impressed with what they did. Music selection was great too!

I don't even know how to describe..

Terrible movie, boring, and the story was so confusing, I didn't get it. There was no plot, the man in the hotel was so strange and creepy, and shots were long. Music sounded like it came from iMovie. The shots weren't on point, and the acting of some of the characters were so unconvincing. It does not demonstrate a real American Prom, or any high school life at all, not even where you could relate to it a little bit. I get the movie was on a low budget and such, but they could've at least worked on the storyline so people could understand! I also watched this in the mental hospital, so that made it ten times worse.

Decent for what it is

Thought it was great considering the budget etc. I read about this movie on Film Threat and as an aspiring filmmaker had to check it out. Didn't know it was possible to make a movie with no budget. The storyline is non linear and jumps around so if you can follow it it's a nice take on the story. It's pretty easy to follow. Kind of a simple coming of age story that borders on being a faith based film with an edge to it. I would've loved to see more but do love how it leaves you guessing at the end and allows the viewer to decide what happens after prom night. I also like the friendships and realism of high school dating etc.
