I was not aware that a film had been made about Monte Verita; thus have not seen the film. I do appreciate the fact that this amazing location remains intriguing for many, even filmmakers. Many others have tried to capture the special experience that one gets by visiting Monte Verita.

Many years ago I discovered it, quite by accident, while visiting Switzerland; never forgot the mystical feeling while there. There is much history sorrounding this unique place and certain worthy of discovery.

At one time, they would have summer conferences and try to recapture some of the unique history of this very special place.

Monte Verita, could have made for a fantastic story. This fictional film has no historical value, no a story line but only tries to forcefully push a message, that is not clear. Why invent a complex story of a women snd her struggle, if there are real Story like this to tell? Why call it Monte Verita, if it is only used as a background? Embarrassing and would not see again. Hopefully one day, somebody more talented will make a movie that really IS about Monte Verita. Spas and resting resorts in the beginning of the XXth Century, precedents of the hippy flower power movements, and today's healthy workshops function as the background for this story about a woman who is not happy in her marriage and her role in the high classs society in which she is sunk.
