This came into my radar out of nowhere. But within first 5min of the first episode I knew this was going to be a fantastic show. In terms of action this is the best anime I have seen this year. Fog Hill of Five Elements offers smooth animation of One Punch Man, coolness of Afro Samurai, comedy of Kung Fu Panda and Zen like art of Mushishi.

Long ago The Sacred Shrouded Mountain was home of many vicious monsters. To save the human five powerful Aspects appeared. They harnessed the five elements of Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. They sealed the demons and saved the humanity. The story follows the journey of fire wilder Xuan as he finds himself between a fight of demons and humans.

The action is the best aspect of Fog hill of five elements. I have not seen such amazing fight choreography and animation since One Punch Man (2015). It is a visual treat. Some moments in the fight is just extraordinary. There are plenty of fight scenes to enjoy and each fight is unique and beautifully animated.

The design of the characters were awesome. Every central character looked unique. I loved the art style. The sound effects in the fight were great. One of the thing I liked was the comedy, especially in the first episode. I hope there will be more comedy scenes in the coming episodes.

This is an original Chinese anime but it far surpasses some of the best Japanese anime. So far three episodes have been released. Probably there will be total of 8 episodes. I am looking forward to see more of it. This is a must watch for anyone who likes action anime.

This is the Start of another Masterpiece.

I really don't understand why this anime is so underrated. If this was Japanese anime it would have blown out in popularity and would have gotten endless praises. This anime literally shows how other forms of animation are underrated compared to Japanese.

This is the story of the powerful five Elements and the world where humans and Demons exist. The Skeleton of this anime from the above may seem generic but when you reach deep Under the Skeleton things changes and you will see the beauty.

The real Appeal of this anime comes from the animation and the choreography of the fights. Each fight feels like a fight between martial artist. This anime puts lots of modern day anime to shame when it comes to choreography. Compared to this anime most modern day anime fight scenes seems like a fight between savages.

This is my first Chinese anime and I did not expected this to blow me like this. I was never into Chinese animation and for some reason I never took them seriously. Thank god I tried this anime, it really opens a completely New Horizons for me.

The action sense is brilliant. Fast but outstanding! I'm surprised it has a story too. The art is also drawn beautifully. When i first saw it, I couldn't wait for the next episode.

Literally, this series has the best fights in all anime. You can't change my mind. The choreography is just mind blowing it even surpasses Ufotable's animation! Too bad it's only 3 episodes. Definitely this is one of the best action animes out there.

The Animation is beautiful, the story is captivating & the fight scenes are top notch, Chinese anime just hit a home run.

10/10 absolute freaking masterpiece! The animation is stunningly beautiful in the fight scenes are intricate, detailed and masterful. The storyline is incredibly interesting, well written and the characters each have such definitive unique personalities and they are so captivating. This is a martial arts and artistic masterpiece.

This is an absolute must watch Donghua! Even though there's only a few episodes they are quite long most of them. At least 30 to 40 minutes each. So even though the first season is three episodes It's an hour and 20 minutes total and the second season has four episodes for almost 2 hours. So don't be discouraged by the low number of episodes. Although they do need more episodes LOL Seriously fantastic show!

This series have good action sequence and nice storyline in 3 episodes . So, I want season 2 for this series and I really appreciate that studio for nice animation sequences long time I see good series in three episode.

Over the years, the anime industry has accustomed us to a rigid framework of its work, from narration, infantile characters, presentation of heroes, through continuous and homogeneous action without anything new or imaginative visible in productions full of action and fantasy, to more and more irrational and clichéd works.

In short, they released the same work in different colors.

The commented creation is a wonderful answer to the above concrete and a long-awaited piece of real art of drawing, creativity and production technology.

I support the creators very much and I recommend watching it :).

An animation masterpiece that is about to receive the second season in 2022/2023 the animation is the best animation ever made so there is nothing to talk about in general a masterpiece of 3 episodes to tell a mythological story of insane quality this will be remembered as underrated by the internet or something more fact and that this Chinese animation is perfect without anything else to say the aspect of animes in the china countryside is amazing in general it doesn't have the suffering with storyboards and freelancers like animes Japanese have the pattern of being more about talent and not money in that the Chinese are as talented as the Japanese for anime in many aspects.

It has gotten me to stand on my toes though I've just seen three unforgettable episodes. In regards to the plot, it's so unique that I have enjoyed the events that lead to the unleash of the demons. It's got its drama and colorful scenes, and the characters are well presented. Can't wait to see how it turns. The guys who made this have put extraordinary work to make it one of a kind.

Literally a masterpiece, I'm serious, I'm a fan of several animated series of action both in the east and in the west series like Naruto, dragon ball z, avatar the last airbender, samurai jack, all great action series but none of these series that I've sited compares Fog Hill of Five Elements and I assure those reading this review that what you are about to watch is one of the best things if not the best done in the history of animation. Time with context of characters you've never seen and presents you with the action in an insane but intelligent way and also the series doesn't try to have false maturity like many series in the west I even guarantee that the rating of these series on several sites will increase in some years now even while I'm writing this review a lot of people are idolizing a series called arcane which is a pretty flawed animated series whose grade tends to drop in a few more years. So and that by the way yes this series does everything that many others did in 3 episodes very well done.
