Entertaining

Show is funny at times. What the show lacks is 'truth' about this business. I've been reselling and have a very profitable business for close to a decade. The show has a way of making you think that buying and selling pallets of merchandise is easy. I've seen many people lose a lot of money because they have zero knowledge of what they are purchasing or try to resell on a part time basis, with very little effort. Please watch the show for what it is......entertainment!

We liked it

As others have pointed out, it's true that you can't expect to buy pallets of goods and resell everything at full MSRP. Maybe you could list things on eBay or somewhere, but it's going to take time and then you'll have postage and boxes etc. Eating into profits, plus it's consuming your time. If you operate a brick and mortar store, then that's eating up profits too. Factor in that sometimes the pallet is a dud and so on, and you wonder how many of them make money. So I don't see it as a viable business plan, but like "Storage Wars" some may have the knack and will do ok. For many it's a get-rich-quick scheme that will fail. All that said, it's entertaining to see how much they paid vs. What's in the pallet.

I'm not much of a businessman (AT ALL), but...

I'm relatively sure you can't count profits until after you've actually successfully sold merchandise and have the money.

The entire premise of this show is that these people buy pallets of unsold and/or returned merchandise and assume they'll be able to resell the items at or near MSRP. I mean, even Multilevel Marketing scams convince people that the products they're trying to sell are worth something. In this case these people are buying stuff that has proven to be worthless on the open market and they get pats on the back if the worthless junk they've gotten is worth more than what they paid when NO ONE PAID FOR THE STUFF TO BEGIN WITH.

I could feel brain cells popping like bubble wrap in my skull watching this.

Corny, Misleading

Saw 2 episodes, it's good for a hearty laugh on the corny close ups and bad overacting. What they fail to tell you are the prices they show are for items still selling along with all the unsold competition from others also buying pallet castoffs, NOT what is actually sold. Wait till they start putting their overstock junk and savaged/ returned items with missing parts on 40% to 60% sales. Oh wait, they have selling fees too if selling online. Oh, they forget to remind you their homes are completely hoarded with boxes or are paying leases, utilities, security, rodent control and travel cost to their junk pile storage warehouses. PLUS don't forget they must pay the IRS at the end of the year unless you are selling at your never ending yard sales or flea market. The neighbors must love that! Do they keep sales receipts for that type of selling? Hum...

essential!

.. if youre a hoarder or one of those late night british accent presented infomercial "as seen on tv!" gadget cleaning trinket buyers. these dimwits rattle off absurd prices for crap nobody save maybe a baby in africa wants (and even that is debatable) .. the funniest bit is in the backgrounds you see stacks upon stacks of unsold crap. yet another get rich quick live the good life the easy way get yours "millions from tiny little ads!" scheme. gimme a break. americans are so dumb ffs.......

So So So Bad, Waste of Time

If I could give a rating below one star, I would. Everything about this show is just bad. I will never get my time back from watching this nonsense. How about showing what money they really make selling this junk? Any knucklehead can pay a fortune, open boxes of returned junk and do surprised faces in the camera. Who thought this show would be believable? Too much time wasted on really really bad attempts at comedy. OK, watch this if you aspire to be a cheesy flea market CEO.

Underrated show-Very entertaining

All around great show. Very entertaining. Buying from these stores at such a discounted rate is amazing and being able to watch how they do it is incredibly interesting. Somehow they manage to take what they do for a living and make it into something very funny. I personally enjoy the team with Chuck and Chris.
