I laughed and almost cried, I recognized myself and many others i know in these well developed characters. It is funny, hilarious sometimes but always with good taste. Actors are fantastic and chemistry between them is so true and convincing.

It's a study of life with all its beauties and problems, wonderfully developed by Kicic, a feel-good show after all, with just enough sadness and melancholy to make you appreciate life even more at least for a moment after watching.

The real story is really a real story. Both mom and dad really enjoy playing war. I wasn't expecting it, but I got a good comedy, recognizable life scenes, actors that I trust, and great entertainment. I haven't watched a comedy in a long time because my focus is on other genres now, but I liked this one. The first season is a little better because Gordan Kicic is really funny and unsuccessful in it, but the second season is not bad either. Everything that is not perfect in this series doesn't need to become perfect. It's very good just the way it is. All the praise to the authorial and acting team, and just keep going. 8/10 from me.

Thank you for this opportunity, to feel like we don't live in this hopeless place, and in a decaying world. I felt like a kid again, watching this show. Reminded me of the infamous 90's in Serbia; growing up during this decade, my favourite time was during Sunday mornings, watching great movies and TV shows on legendary 3K RTS a, with my family... Well done. Just beautiful.

I really enjoyed watching all three seasons. The first two have more laughter and funny situations, while the third one features more emotional moments-both happy and sad. It's a beautifully executed and well-balanced series, and hats off to the whole team, especially Kica-he truly showed great skill and immense talent. The actors were also phenomenal, from the oldest to the youngest-true greats! Simply one of the best series I've ever watched in my life. I'm especially glad that, in such dark times, things this bright are being created. Well done, everyone-it's a joy to live in the same time as people like you. I hope you continue to create more beautiful things like this...

A true-to-life story presented in a way that doesn't disturb or awaken the demons within us. Excellent and intelligent humor. We are all Veljko, Jadranka, the lawyer... and we've all been in harmless situations at some point... and we're still here.

A recommendation for everyone, especially if you think you're the one having the worst time and that it only happens to you. It will cheer you up😇

Praise for the choice of actors; they all truly played their roles exellent.

We need more tv shows like this. It would be great if projects of this type were supported.

This is my first review on imdb I believe, and for a reason!

Mama i tata se igraju rata is already one of the best Serbian TV shows ever and probably will be the best Serbian dramedy ever.

This series gets only better season by season (even Pavle Cortanovski must be delighted).

Each episode is unique, contains perfect mix of comedy and drama, makes us think of our lives and ultimately makes us think that, in the end, everything is going to be just fine.

If you have any doubts whether to watch this show, do not wait any longer.

Gordan Kicic, take a bow you legend!
