I'm more attracted to the Chinese 3D Donghua's than the normal 2D animation. And I have watched nearly all of them of the last 6 years, some excellent (like soul land, Battle through the heavens, swallowed star, martial universe) and some not so good).

I would say I'm a donghua junkie.

So if you don't like 3D animation then it "MIGHT" not be for you.

Anyway the story is about a poor boy Han LI who was sent off by his parents to join the seven mysteries sect in order to send money to feed his family.

On arriving at the sect the test that they had to endure in order to be accepted was very challenging, and han li and his friends failed to pass the test in the designated time, so they were not accepted. But the sect doctor Mr mo was looking for apprentices in order to farm his herbal garden, so he took them in and taught them the art of cultivation, herbology and martial arts, yet all this was for his own selfish means.

Thus begins one of the most exciting, serious and epic rides you will witness in any animation. Fasten your seat belts as I introduce " A record of mortals journey to immortality".

Out of all the Donghua protagonist's Han Li is special. Unlike other's Han Li didn't get any mysterious inheritance that can make him a hero. All he had is a cheat method to age plants quickly, everything else, skills and tools, he obtained it by himself through being very diplomatic, strategic, and fighting out fights with absolute confidence in his ability. Then again, his sole aim remains, to continuously cultivate, and seek resources, tools, and skills. He never compromises his pursuit, and is not a fool to stick out his head unnecessarily or show his hand to seek fame. All of this makes Han Li a real world person who is striving in an ancient fantasy continent. The series gave multiple scares about being cancelled. Though, they revived it and thanks for continuing the awesome story of clever Han Li. The only issue I have about the series is since 2023 they started to drag through the episodes more than it is needed instead of covering the story, it affects the quality of story telling. Some other prominent series' are also doing this, I am not sure why they're afraid, it is not like they don't have the content and doesn't have enough stories to run the studios.

A lot of great animes but after season 1 as always start to go in a direction that is out of the first season. First season a master peace then ups and downs begin in other seasons. The great things about anime it feels like real life but with super power's. In real life you don't fight none stop gets boring. You need fun party relax date training... it has gotten to the point that only fighting none stop. The enemies are always tougher than main character it's like always winning by luck. His training doesn't seem to help now like what's the point then. Making the main character all of a sudden to be so weak. No more new power's... just fight fight fight win by luck. You started removing all the great things the anime has to offer turning into something completely different. From a master peace to I don't know what the hells going on. The guy hasn't got time for anything get stronger not happening now. Some nice relaxed moments no. Women no. New power's no... nice stories here and there no. Fight fight fight stronger opponent's one battle straight into another tough one. Win by luck. Starting to be a really boring and annoying. Our main character always in this kind of situations.
