In a fantasy sequence, Rob imagines Duncan dumping Linsey and coming out as gay after she gains large amounts of weight. The sequence shows Duncan on a mocked-up cover of gay lifestyle magazine Attitude, with the headline "Fat Bird Sent Me Queer". Five months on from the show's end, Duncan James did indeed come out as bisexual, and later as gay in 2014.
