Created by Glen Powell and Michael Waldron, Hulu is suiting up for one of its quirkiest sports comedies, Chad Powers, with a talented cast of actors, which includes Powell, Steve Zahn, Toby Huss, Perry Mattfeld, Clayne Crawford, Wynn Everett, and others. The show is based on Eli Manning’s viral 2022 Chad Powers sketch and follows disgraced quarterback Russ Holliday (Glen Powell), who tries to reboot his career by disguising himself as the hilariously fake-but-deadly serious Chad Powers.

Directed by Tony Yacenda with Eli and Peyton Manning as producers, Chad Powers will premiere on September 30, 2025, with the first two episodes dropping on Hulu the same day, followed by weekly releases.

The new crime drama series, “Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy” has released its first full trailer.

The series about the notorious serial killer will premiere on Peacock with all eight episodes on Oct. 16th. It stars Michael Chernus (“Severance”), Gabriel Luna (“The Last of Us”), James Badge Dale, Michael Angarano (“Oppenheimer”), Chris Sullivan (“This is Us”) and Marin Ireland (“The Irishman”).

The series revolves around, according to its official description, “the heartbreaking stories of Gacy’s victims and the immense grief and trauma that their families endured. On Tuesday, the streamer unveiled the first full trailer (below) for the true-crime series that tells the stories of serial murderer John Wayne Gacy (Michael Chernus) as he targets young boys. The trailer begins with a 16-year-old knocking on his car door, eager to start working in construction with him, but then goes missing. Then it cuts to the grieving family saying, “Missing kids usually come home. What happens when they don’t?”

Later in the trailer, it shows Michael Angarano (Oppenheimer) portraying Sam Amirante, a lawyer who struggles with defending the criminal. Gabriel Luna (The Last of Us) plays Detective Rafael Tovar, who is trying to find justice.

Sterling Point was created by Park who will also direct and executive producer. Plot details are being kept under wraps but the series is being described as an ensemble drama with comedy and heart about sisterhood, nature vs nurture, complicated family dynamics and grief. It is believed to follow Annie (Rubin) who, along with her twin brother, were raised in New York by their single dad before they find out that their estranged grandfather left them an island on a lake in his will.
