Music records and haikus.

A new anime movie on Netflix. Even though it was less than an hour and a half, I enjoyed this anime a lot.

The animation was visually striking and popping. I adored the style because almost every scene was full of vibrant color. There was never a full moment. The characters looked very cute too.

The premise of the story was pretty unique. The first half gave me such a cool vibe. I felt like cruising along with the characters and the dynamic city. In the second half was where the serious stuff happened. It was a cute story where the main characters tried to find an old record. At first, I wasn't sure how the haiku would tie to the main story, but towards the end, the play of words was clever and connect everything together well.

This leads to the two main characters. They both had their own insecurities and ways to hide them. However, I loved that they were tied together through haiku, and that the play of words and beautiful poetry helped both characters grow and face their insecurities.

My only problem was that the ending felt fairly rushed. There were two big moments, and the first one didn't have enough screen times to linger with me. The second big moment was beautiful and satisfying though. However, the emotion in the second kinda overshadowed the first moment. The movie should be a bit longer to make both moments, especially the first, more impactful.

Overall, a beautifully animated movie with a simple yet clever story and premise. For sure check out on Netflix. 9/10.

A charming tale of finding courage among fear and insecurity.

This is a character driven story.

It's about personal growth, and the challenges to get there. So, don't expect an intricate plot with twists and turns.

It's simple, like apple pie. And I love me some apple pie.

There are examples of masterclass level animation, from an exciting chase scene to the way someone puts on a facemask.

This is a movie I would happily add to my collection.

Words bubble like a soda pop was a decent watch with okay storyline (although it could have been better). The colours were vibrant, although I didn't liked the animation much. Nonetheless, the story was a slow build romance but the emotional content and connection felt a bit lacking among the leads.

There was a story but it didn't dug deep and refused to elaborate to a 100% satisfying ending. The best part was the OST which felt quite unique and stayed well with the movie scenes. Atleast it wasn't like Uchia Hanabi, which was a total dud/disappoinment for me.

CONS: Didn't hate, but not liked the animation very much Story coulld have been more elaborative

A very colorful movie. Its a story about how two people with social anxiety and insecurity met each other and became afterwards, then fell in love. Great voice casts and the animation was so freaking good. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed the film-- "Words Bubble Up Like Soda"-- It is very cute.

Slice of life cartoon-- Cherry and Smile are awesome-- Their friendship is great.

Cherry does Haikus-- Smile is an internet star-- They become good friends.

Cherry covers ears-- Smile covers her "ugly" teeth-- Together they fit.

Animation's nice-- very colorful and bright-- expressive for sure.

But not much happens-- People make some poor choices-- Cliched finale.

There's pacing problems-- Where's the hook, an hour in?-- Just do something.

Characters evolve-- Seeing change is always good-- Stories worth telling.

Give it a look-see-- You like mellow animes?-- This one's worth your time.
