One morning an eclectic mix of people face the everyday battle - such as work, school and dish-washing. As the day progresses, their relationships are tested and ultimately their capacity to cope.

One winter morning people wake up in an apartment block and the routine takes over - whether it's work, school or housework. As the day progresses, the habits of each start to reveal their character traits: efficiency, sloth, addiction or passion. In the evening, when everybody is back home, the building resonates with either love-making or awkward silences. And before bedtime each and every resident has to face the deeds of the day.—Anonymous

Sometimes, depending on the mood, intonation, and expression, a single tiny word can contain innumerable meanings. Against the backdrop of a cold, snow-capped winter morning, we follow the ordinary lives of several diverse inhabitants of a tenement building, as they go about their daily activities as usual. Over the course of a single day, their typical routines, long-term habits, and personal fears become intertwined with small moments of tenderness and the undying hope that tomorrow is a new day.—Nick Riganas
