The new Chinese movies has a lot of CGI some are good but mostly are terrible, as a matter fact they are so terrible that makes me miss the 2010-2014 CGI effects (the one everyone called embarrassed and cheap)
A team of sailor end up in an unknown island inhabited by giant crocodile. Later another group of science with one expert go there to investigate, actually same story as the giant Snake.
Most boring and predictable specially for the foreigners, they are just there to be bad guys and croc food.
1/10 boring.

Considering China has made some incredible creature features over the years - and with the CGI technology available nowadays - the visual effects in 'Mega Crocodile' are from the bottom of the low budget barrel. Add unconvincing acting and you have a typical B-Movie.
The comic relief character was so overdone, it became incredibly annoying over the course of the movie. In fact, so much so that the final act was almost pure comedy, unfunny and stupid. Whatever suspense there could have been, was completely ruined by the humor.
From an adventure perspective, this wasn't all that bad and did provide some thrills and excitement. Ultimately, there are far better crocodile movies out there - or creature features for that matter. The film's climax was laden with so many flaws, and so badly done that I just sat there shaking my head in disbelief.
Would I watch it again? No.

At first part it will capture your attention, but as the movie goes it just gives you disappointment piling up. I expected a lot from this since it's from China, known to have great movies especially with the usage of CGI but damn, this movie was like made from early 2000s.
Humor was badly placed, characters were badly delivering their lines, with overexaggerated acting. Steve, as one, is so bad at acting like, is he the only one available or did they even held an audition for his role? The story telling is lacking, it didn't even connect most of the pieces in this film.
The plot has a good potential, it was just as if this movie was film in a rush just so they could present a "movie". Ending was also a disappointment. It could have been done better.
Overall, if you're just finding something to kill time or wanting a little thrill and not so particular with technicalities, then this will still be a good watch.
