Without a doubt, Craig Baldwin's "Mock Up on Mu" is like nothing that you've ever seen. It's actually the first movie from Baldwin that I've seen. I can tell that Baldwin is an iconoclastic director. Despite the movie's bizarre structure, it does actually have a plot (something involving L. Ron Hubbard setting up a moon colony in collaboration with Lockheed Martin and Aleister Crowley).
That's what the gist is, anyway. Most of the movie is scenes from old movies and footage, with narration from people playing the characters. I hope to see more of Baldwin's movies, but I should note that this is not the sort of movie that the average moviegoer is used to. My main reason for watching it was because I've been trying to see movies from lesser-known directors over the past year or two.
Worth seeing, but just remember that nothing's going to prepare you for this experience.
