There’s a CineVita coming to town.
Theatrical production group For the Record is launching the “live cinema” venue at Hollywood Park near SoFi Stadium in the new year. On Feb. 11, CineVita will open doors by hosting its debut show, Tarantino | Pulp Rock, an homage to auteur Quentin Tarantino. The show — designed to bring Tarantino’s “cinematic universe to life in a high-octane 360-degree concert experience,” courtesy of a live band and artists — mixes notable scenes and soundtracks from all nine of his films: Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Jackie Brown, Death Proof, Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Tarantino | Pulp Rock is directed and adapted by Anderson Davis with music supervision and arrangements by Jesse Vargas, choreography by Sumie Maeda and costume design by Steve Mazurek. CineVita’s design team includes lighting design by Emmy winner Mike Berger and sound...

It sounds like there was some backstage drama on The View. The news comes from a podcast episode that Sara Haines appeared on. In that episode, she reveals a small story of something that happened between her and Alyssa Farah Griffin in an email between the hosts.
Here is what happened and why it annoyed Sara so much.

At this year’s MipTV, The Wit hosted its first-ever presentation for a Fresh TV Lab, hosted by CEO and co-founder Virginia Mouseler and focused on Esports, podcasts and brands.
“Esports is a growing entertainment option, not only for younger people but with a wider and wider audience. Of course, Esports is primarily about online gaming and streaming platforms, but it’s not generating its own game show formats. Are they imitating TV, or should TV imitate them?” Mouseler asked.
Starting in Spain, the presentation kicked off with “Top Gamers Academy,” from “Operación Triunfo” producers Gestmusic, an Endemol Shine Iberia company. An early transmedia phenomenon, the show is broadcast on linear network Neox, streaming websites Twitch, YouTube and digital streaming platform Atresplayer, with Banijay handling distribution. Similar to one of Spain’s most popular reality formats of the last decade, “Operación Triunfo,” contestants on the program live together, train together...

Oscilloscope Laboratories is teaming with Mailchimp once again for #SupportTheShorts, a free streaming event featuring a selection of short films from the SXSW Film Festival on the global streaming platform Mailchimp Presents.
#SupportTheShorts launched last year when SXSW was canceled due to Covid-19 and hundreds of short filmmakers lost the opportunity for their work to be seen. To remedy this, Mailchimp partnered with Oscilloscope to give these short films and their creators a digital home where their work could be enjoyed from anywhere.
This year’s online edition of SXSW brings back the platform for filmmakers to showcase their art at the festival and to a broader audience. In addition to the film licensing, Mailchimp and Oscilloscope supplied hundreds of SXSW festival badges to 18 organizations committed to boosting opportunities for underrepresented communities in the film industry.

Days before the 2021 Grammys, Noah Cyrus has contributed to Spotify’s Best New Artist celebration with a cover of Bon Iver’s “Re: Stacks.”
The Spotify Single stays true to the For Emma, Forever Ago track, with Cyrus’ vocals across subtle guitar. In addition to the cover, she also released a stripped-back version of her song “July,” and appeared on Spotify’s For the Record podcast with her father Billy Ray Cyrus.
