It is a documentary, so of course it is "real", but I thought the summary would be a perfect fit for this movie. I hadn't read anything about the movie (actually it wasn't actually on IMDb not so long ago), but went and watched it in Berlin, at the Film Festival (Berlinale), where they showed it.
The documentary itself, showing people (mostly women) and how they get by everyday life, including their jobs (which in this case is boxing), is very interesting. The people in it don't act, but portray themselves, which comes off very authentic. The political range of the documentary is also very exciting. A well done movie then, but not perfectly balanced in my eyes. There are too many "low" (or slow moving) moments for my taste. If the pace would have been a bit better, it would've helped the movie (then again, maybe they didn't show the final version at the Berlinale)
