The reason Ryoma's life utterly sucked so much on Earth is that his world's God was treating Ryoma's life like an RPG character; wishing to turn him into a serial killer. When Ryoma wouldn't snap, said God caused his lame death.

Gain, Kufu and Lulutia noted that every major tragedy in Ryoma's life was a nation level God trial. Ryoma passed them all, so the jerk God DID give rewards for their completion; but the rewards were all useless to Ryoma.

Quite good in sub

I normally watch anime subbed and if I enjoy it rewatch it when full dubs out, couldn't make it through this because of females voice for main character, just stupid. Shows nice and cute but that's just too annoying for me personally.
