This is a modern family of four who are all constantly on their devices. The daughter downloads a new computer program and the family gets manipulated. I don't know the filmmaker Brian Babarik or these actors. The father is fine for his dumb character. Who gives up their code like that? I don't think the mother fits the family. In fact, I kept thinking she's a stepmom. The son has some good creepiness although that's the character's one note. Noëlle Gutierrez is interesting, but this is her only credit. I don't know if she is going anywhere. Something happens at the 40 minutes mark that should happen sooner. The program should not be introduced into the family so soon. The family's normal relationships need to be explored before the audience can see the changes. I like this concept and I understand the indie limitations. There are still issues with the execution.
