The plot had a lot of potential. The people were the typical good looking young folks. Their skills might have been better if the writing had been better. It was like it was missing some transitions between aspects of the plot. It didn't flow and it seemed a little stiff. I have seen much better acting than this show. Very hard to believe the people. Sorry to say it. Don't know if it was the acting or the writing. Good when you just want something to take your mind off of a boring day maybe?
This movie was so boring and no chemistry. Turned it off after 30 minutes:
Literally no one was worth rooting for. Every character was abysmal. I vehemently deleted it off the DVR wishing I could get the same satisfaction in doing so as I once did from slamming down a telephone.
First, I enjoy Hallmark movies and grade them on a curve. I'm very forgiving. But this movie was difficult to watch (although it was apparently produced outside Hallmark's normal production system). The bride to be went back and forth between being pleasant and easy going to whiny and irrational. Her fiancé did NOTHING wrong but she kept threatening to call off the wedding just because the wedding plans went off track (through no fault of her fiancé). Good luck handling REAL marriage problems Bridezilla.
Her best friend/wedding planner Meg tried to be a good friend, but it was aggravating listening to her constantly snap at and insult the best man like he was a rotten child. She walked around with an air of superiority that was completely off putting. And that lady who overbooked the wedding venue and didn't realize it until the weekend of the wedding?? And the cake maker who lost track of the cake order? Really? Having the chalet spontaneously explode would be more believable than it being double booked for a reunion.
Meg's parents were awkward and weird during their rehearsal dinner speech. The bride's future mother in law was a caricature who barked at her for no reason. And the bride avoided the only bridesmaid who showed up (granted she was also annoying). And what about the romantic outdoor movie experience with a big screen and a concession stand? The bridesmaid and the other guest staying at the house were told they couldn't watch, but Meg and the best man could, while loudly arguing over how to eat a hot dog. And did anyone notice they were all watching a blank screen?
Meg would behave in ways even a teenager would know was inappropriate. Working on her laptop (??!) during the opening of gifts at a shower? Who would do that?. She also took a call and walked away during her best friend's speech at the rehearsal dinner. What ??? It wasn't even her big new client who wanted a huge wedding on just a month's notice, it was her boss looking for some meaningless reassurance after hours at night. Meg couldn't wait to return the after hours call a few minutes later? And put the phone on silent? Really? We get it, she's BUSY and has a lot of work trying to plan a wedding for some celeb who thinks it's realistic to have a lavish 500 person wedding with fire dancers with just a month of planning. But that was all just lazy writing.
Give me Bridal Wave, Wedding Every Weekend, or even A Country Wedding with the annoying Jesse Metcalfe (that dude always looks constipated). There are sooooo many better Hallmark movies.

This movie is a bad attempt. While watching I wondered if the actors and crew knew what a disaster they were creating. It seemed like an amateur project with actors who are still in training. We learn from our mistakes and the actors and staff have a lot to learn.
