I enjoyed this Jack Whitehall special a lot more than his previous At Large.
It was pure standup, and I felt Jack maintained his energetic flamboyant style of comedy, without going over-the-top or descending into James Corden-like theatrical cringe.
I laughed-out-loud numerous times, though also felt numerous jokes didn't land. He tied material together effectively. The biggest laughs came from stories about his father (Michael Whitehall) and an interaction with audience members though - which is perhaps a sign he needs new material.
At times, jokes and lines felt almost "too rehearsed" or delivered - but this was only a small slight. I wanted to laugh and I did, so was worth the watch!
Father Whitehall's appearance in a Ukrainian hospital at the end was worth sticking around for.

Just bad. The jokes are average and the performance is really, really overdone for the quality of jokes.

The show starts relatively well but descends into a stale repetition of old material and far-fetched stories who's punchlines fall flat.
Another excellent standup from Jack! I loved it from start to end and he kept my husband and I laughing all the way. I thought it was very on point with current times but never losing his London/posh angle, which I adore!
Definitely a favourite and have recommended it to family and friends for an easy, funny night in!

Having seen all his specials and seeing him live just before Christmas he is certainly funny but I must have heard half of this material 3-4 times before by now. Very little new and original material seems he's just coasting by the last year or two!

I have to disagree with a lot of the comments here, every joke is funny and it just gets better towards the end. It's hard to make me laugh with standup but Jack successfully did it. His punchlines are top tier and the punchline for the last joke had me laughing harder than any other point in the show. I found it entertaining when Jack interacts with the crowd even though it may be a filler for a flat joke it was still funny and I didn't think the jokes were flat; each joke was well thought out and absolutely hilarious.
I enjoy Travels With My Father and when I finally found this standup, I thought it would be absolutely horrible. It was not, I loved every joke and also the way Jack tells his jokes, it's just hilarious.
10/10 I hope to see another Jack Whitehall Netflix standup comedy soon!

I dont know if this is aimed at people that have not lived on this earth for over 20 years but it really misses the mark. I find Jack quite funny on other shows and some of his writing has been quite good. Had to turn it off after asking 3 others if I could. They all agreed.

I am a big fan of stand-up comedy, but this special felt forced and contrived. Only mildly entertaining at its best moments. He just couldn't set the hook. I've seen funnier material at Open Mic nights. I'd give this one a pass.

I can't tell you how bad it is. Everything is bad the first 7 min. Who wrote his jokes needs a different job. Stoped it after 7 min....

Cliche jokes and another Trump bashing fool trying anything and everything to get a laugh. I love comedy however this didn't even warrant a smile.

He's very clever on The Graham Norton Show. I'm American & thought the first part of this show was really funny~jokes about Americans, included. However, vegan jokes demonstrate ignorance. Being vegan means you're concerned about the environment and the soul of animals, as well as your health. "The soul is the same in all living creatures, although the body of each is different."

"Americans have guns, they are stupid, Trump is bad"
Really breaking new ground, this guy. I've never seen such an original, stunning and brave comedy special in the last 10 minutes.
Such profound social commentary, I can't believe nobody else in the history of comedy has ever done a gun joke or a "Trump bad" joke yet.
Truly a visionary of his time. The most unique little snowflake in the comedy scene.
I just hope some other, unoriginal comedian doesn't try to copy this guy's profoundly unique talking points and statements, that'd be catastrophic.
I mean, in 2020 he tells that ancient joke "I don't drink water because fish f-ck in it", and even steals a couple of old jokes from other comedians, like the Alexa one. Again - super fresh, this guy.

I like Jack, but he just brings nothing new. It's a lot of jokes we've heard or seen before.
For some reason, for me, Jack works better as a part of a programme. In his stand-up shows, he often makes me cringe. But when he's a guest, or as weekly member of 'A League Of Their Own', I think he's great. A lot funnier.
It's a shame he just presses the repeat button when he performs in his stand-ups. This one isn't his best, unfortunately. It's not a complete failure and there are a few funny jokes, but nothing that really makes you laugh out loud.
If you're REALLY a fan, you'll probably get your fix here. Everyone new to Jack might have a chuckle. And those, like me, who know Jack, seen him regularly on TV, but aren't die-hard Jack fans will be left with the feeling of ,,I've heard that one before''.

Jack Whitehall's popularity has always amazed me. He's a good looking posh boy who gets away with saying rude things because of those two previously mentioned things.
He likes (as so many comedians do) as being just a normal guy, but in fact you know he's probably a millionaire twice over.
He's been mining the same areas for comedy for years now (in between having the seemingly obligatory Hollywood phase, where he pops up in a few comedies as the token Brit, adding ultimately nothing) and the well seems to be running very clearly dry.
This was a hard watch because essentially he's just not very funny.
