It is amazing how this series can make you feel as if you know who are the real criminals in just one episode, to then show completely new information and you now have a different opinion. The same thing happens with what you think are the motivations behind the crimes, as they also change with the series progression. I highly recommend.

On the first episode you already know what happened to the boy but the suffocanting part is when all that they know about his death is questioned and the way that the event sequences are shown make you feel like you're part of the indignation and wrath that the people from that tiny city felt.

When the investigators go really deep in the case and they starts to see the whole arrangement, going after of the people who will benefits with the kid's death it's when things begin to be unbeliveable.

Congrats to the director very good adaptation from the podcast "Projeto Humanos" from Ivan Mizanzuk. The way the series tell the story first make you fell all the anger that people from Guaratuba felt a the time, as the evidences are shown you realize how corrupt was our police and how fragile is our judgment system in Brasil.

Unlike any documentary based on past atrocities. The Evandro case deals with unfairness and incompetence at surreal levels. A decade where investigations were precarious and easily manipulated, takes you to a hazy, sad and unfair environment. Unlike anything we've seen on other streaming platforms, the evandro case has a linear and absurd construction. At times you will have a hard time believing what you are watching. And the point is that nothing has been resolved until today. Incredible!

I'm a criminal laywer in Brazil. This TV Show shows a sad reality of my country sistem of law. Brazil pretend to practice justice, while destroys many lives with trials conducted by irresponsable people, who don't care with anything but themselves. My dad was a judge, and fought all his life to practice real justice. Sadly, he was one of a kind (he died in 2018).

An amazing story of how easily people can be manipulated and made to believe one story, that when examined closely, the facts show you that such story, is completely false!
