" Tokyo Love Story " was a pretty realistic view on relationships and life.
As I haven't watched the original drama, I will only focus on the remake. The latter was interesting and frustrating at the same time. The relationships that it presented were not the cliche, overused happy ever after ones, so the actual romance is a bit tragic and sad. The characters are unconventional, unique, broken and imperfect. They make mistakes and some of them, you end up hating them, or sympathizing with them. That's why the drama is a roller coaster of emotions. And yet, the ending actually fitted the story perfectly. In addition, the performances were excellent, which is a key factor for the drama, as the story is character driven.
So, overall, eight out of ten.

To begin with, it is really nice drama or so to say nice melodrama.
It is quite unique and contrary to conventional J-Dramas.
In short the story is about four characters and their entangled love life set in as title says in "Tokyo". Each character have their own flaws which makes the story true to life. Acting was really good by all the actors and no excessive facial expressions as we see in most of J-dramas. The story is kind of slow-burn romance and full of emotions. Ending will be fulfilling for some ,some may feel unsatisfied and some may want more out of it but it is a story it has to end and it was good for me.
