Olvido y León

watch it, you will love it.

The very first word that comes to mind: real. Every dialogue, every joke, the pain, the little things of everyday life between two twins,(Olvido and Leon) where one of them has dawns syndrome. The plot is simple, but there's a lot to it. We find ourselves wondering what it would be like to live like this. It is not over-dramatized or over-colored, yet it is about the past and the present at the same time, and when it is over, for the first time in the film, the real future also emerges. The director did a great job working with people with dawn syndrome, so I smiled a lot during the film, even though it often depicted sad situations. Such a film is not made for the sake of popularity, such a film is much more important than this, it is about love and bonding with each other without any hypocrisy. So if you realize that you mostly watched a sad story with a smile, it will be to Leon's credit, he helps us remember the really important things in life.
