After a five year absence from the world of feature films, Jessica Alba (who did star in the 26 episodes of the Bad Boys spin-off TV series L.A.’s Finest a few years back) has returned with the action thriller Trigger Warning, which was just released through the Netflix streaming service today. To mark the occasion, JoBlo’s own Kyanna Mondezie had the chance to sit down for an interview with Alba, and you can check it out in the embed above!

The cast of Netflix's Trigger Warning features more than a dozen key stars. The new action-thriller movie was in development for some time before its 2024 streaming premiere, having been originally acquired in 2016 by Thunder Road Films before it was picked up by Netflix in 2020. Originally a spec script by John Brancato and Josh Olson, who were later joined by Halley Gross for the finished project, the movie was helmed by Mouly Surya, who is best known for Indonesian dramas and thrillers including her 2008 debut Fiksi.
