A Perfect Introduction to the Persona Series

This game was my first Persona game and it's still my favorite in the series. As a JRPG fan, this blew me away with unique qualities I rarely saw in the JRPGs I had played so far. From the stylistic menus and unique anime artstyle to the kickass OST that even had a dude rapping over sick beats, I got hooked pretty easily. The cast is super memorable and endearing as you see them grow over the story. With the narrative also being very interesting and pretty dark at times. The day cycle that takes place over a year and all the social links were really cool to me as I had never played a game like this before (closest example at the time being TWEWY). And I also liked the fact that not only do you summon Personas in battle to fight for you (which are basically just Stands, which I really enjoy being a JoJo fan) but that those summons are characters from various regions and folklore, which I thought was neat. I'm very happy I played this game because not only did it introduce me to Persona, but the SMT series as a whole which quickly became my favorite JRPG series of all time.

    Darkest in the series

One of the best and darkest stories in the series and with a really good and charming cast of characters that you will grow to love through the 50 hour runtime of the game.

The concept of death, dark hour and tartarus really help to shape this game as something unique but not without it's issues since the dungeon crawling is kinda repetitive in this game and the gameplay hasn't aged that well but the freakin music and the story itself make up for the game's short comings.

Now even though the gameplay and graphics might not be as you would like in a persona game, the characters make it really enjoyable to complete with such an ominous and heartfelt ending that didn't really needed a continuation tbh and the answer will ruin your experience since it's a really bad grind fest with little story here and there that is not worth your time, if you skip it, it makes the game itself so much better and in my opinion the journey is almost a masterpiece that every persona and rpg fan should experience.

Changed my view on gaming as a whole

I'm gonna keep this short This game has made me realise that graphics aren't that important when it's a masterpiece, it really gripped me at many points and made me feel emotions I've never felt toward a game. The gameplay was 10/10 the story was 10/10 and this will hold a special place in my heart for as long as I play video games.

    Perfect

This game is one of the best one out there. It is a must play but if u can't buy, watch it on youtube. I'm not trying to popularize him, but SuperJeenius does a great one. The story of it may not be the very best out there, but some parts of it will bring tears to your eyes. The graphics aren't the best but the story makes up for it. It may be a challenge to get a 100% on it, you have to do everything in perfect order, but if you do, you wont regret doing for it brings much more life into everything. Play if you can afford or just watch it, either way it is a great game to watch or play. To some it all up, this game is one the best games you will play.
