John B. Routledge is ready to take on his final adventure! Ahead of the release of Outer Banks season 4 part 2 on Nov. 7, Netflix gave the popular teen drama series the green light for a fifth and final season. The season 5 renewal kicked off the highly anticipated season 4 finale release week, and Chase Stokes was among the first of the cast to express their gratitude.
"My hearts heavy writing this one," Stokes captioned his Instagram post. "One last ride. Thank you to everybody who has tuned in these past 5 years. You’ve given us more than we could ever give back to you." Before signing off as his beloved character "Jbr," Stokes left his fans with a very apropos message: "It's always gonna be Pogues 4 Life."

There are few director/actor combinations quite as good as Tony Scott and Denzel Washington. The duo made five movies together ranging from "The Taking of Pelham 123" remake to the downright excellent "Crimson Tide," which marked their first collaboration. Their final film together came in 2010 in the form of "Unstoppable," which is not only one of the actor's best thrillers, but also Scott's final film. It now feels like a gift, but Washington almost backed out of the project entirely.
For context, Washington was at the height of his powers at this time. The actor finally won a Best Actor Oscar in 2001 for his role in "Training Day" (he had previously won Best Supporting Actor for "Glory"), which led to a string of solid hits throughout the early 2000s, culminating in 2007s "American Gangster," which recently found new life...

There’s “one last ride with Bravo” coming, with Seal Team Season 7, premiering with two episodes on Sunday, August 11, on Paramount+. (We’ll have to wait to find out why Toni Trucks‘ Davis says that in the trailer.) And of course the question that has to be asked is simple: Could it continue after these final episodes? Trucks is certainly going to miss the show and her character. “I’m sorry [it’s ending],” she tells TV Insider. “I feel like seven seasons have gone by in such a flash, and it is sad. Someone was like, ‘Oh, aren’t you excited to go on to the next thing?’ And I’m like, ‘In a way.’ But I’ve been living with this person for so long that I’m going to miss her in a way.” But at a time when revivals are more common than ever—there are two on Paramount+ right now,...

Justice League stories have spanned decades, from battling Starro to facing Darkseid and complex ethical dilemmas. Scott Snyder's Death Metal saga, Grant Morrison's Tomorrow Woman, Chip Zdarsky's Last Ride showcase the heroes' humanity. Tower of Babel, World War Three, and Kingdom Come present unique challenges that redefine the iconic heroes of the Jla.
In 1960, DC Comics assembled the Justice League of America, an all-star team that included Wonder Woman, Flash, Batman and Superman. In their sixty-four-year history, the team have been written into some of the greatest stories in comics, ranging from alien invasions to Elseworlds "what if" style stories. Despite their god-like abilities, the League's best stories play up their humanity, demonstrating the meaning they bring to readers.
The Justice League have a rich history of brilliant stories, dating all the way back to their first appearance as a team in their battle against Starro the Conqueror.

Players can spend quality time with Arthur before the end of RDR2. Find a scenic spot like Horseshoe Overlook to reflect on Arthur's journey and enjoy the peaceful moments before his last ride. Say hello to everyone in town, spread kindness, and engage in conversations with NPCs to leave a positive impact on the world as Arthur's final act.
The final moments of Red Dead Redemption 2 can be pretty intense, so it's nice to take some time for Arthur before heading into the final mission. Players really get to know everything about RDR2's characters throughout - their secrets, their pasts, their hopes, and eventually, their ends. The Undertaker will rise once more for a tribute at the upcoming pay-per-view “WWE Survivor Series,” which this November marks 30 years since his WWF debut. Along the way, there have been championships, the WrestleMania “Streak” and a ton of Tombstones.
So yeah, we had some questions for the professional-wrestling legend, whose real name is Mark Calaway, when we spoke early during what WWE has informally dubbed Undertaker Appreciation Month and officially titled “30 Days of the Dead Man.”
Below, read our November Q&a with the (dead) man himself.
TheWrap: What is your current status as an in-ring wrestler? Is it officially retired? Are we going with that?
The Undertaker: I’m going with it, but I work for a man by the name of Vince McMahon, whose motto is ‘Never say never.’ And I’ll kind of leave that there. In my eyes, yeah, I am officially retired.

The Undertaker appears to be finally hanging up the boots, as the legendary WWE Superstar has just announced he has "no desire" to ever compete in a wrestling ring again. The veteran performer, whose real name is Mark Calaway, has been the subject of the new five-part docuseries, Undertaker: The Last Ride on WWE Network. In the newly-debuted final episode, the Undertaker revealed that his WrestleMania 36 match against A.J. Styles from earlier this year has left him with the perfect opportunity to ride off into the sunset.
"At this point in my career, I have no desire to get back in the ring. I'm at a point, it's time this cowboy really rides away," the 55-year-old said on The Last Ride. Glendyn Ivin (Photo credit: Sam Chiplin).
Glendyn Ivin was in Glasgow shooting the BBC/ABC psychological thriller The Cry last year when he got a call from his Us agent.
UTA’s Bec Smith wanted to know if the director was still interested in a screen adaptation of Penguin Bloom, an Australian book by Bradley Trevor Greive which he had read several years earlier.
He sure was: He’d been very moved by the story of Samantha Bloom, a young Sydney woman who broke her back after a railing snapped and she fell head-first six metres onto a concrete floor while holidaying with her family in Thailand in 2013.
After being diagnosed as a paraplegic, she slipped into depression and hopelessness until her son Noah found a frail, injured magpie chick. By caring for the little bird, which the family named Penguin for her black and white plumage, she regained her strength and confidence.

Buckle up, Supernatural fans! The long-running CW drama is approaching the finish line for its 15th and Final season.
Supernatural Season 15 was confirmed by The CW back in January 2019, obviously to no one's surprise. However, it turns out that the Winchesters aren't going to live forever, since we would later learn that said fifteenth season will be the final one for the long-running genre series, set for a 20-episode run.
Believe it or not, Supernatural is the longest-running genre series in American broadcast television history. The series is also the last remaining vestige of The WB network, which merged with Upn in 2006 to create The CW network as we know it today.
Check out our recent interview with Ruth Connell, aka Rowena.
Supernatural Season 15 Return Date
Supernatural returns on Thursday, January 16th with Episode 9 of the season, titled "The Trap." Check out the synopsis...

It’s time once more for Wrestlemania the biggest professional wrestling and sports entertainment event for fans and performers that there is. This year the event is held in Orlando, the home of Nxt – where a lot of the current roster of superstars got their start -and as usual (at least on paper) the card doesn’t seem that great. But that’s the thing with the WWE’s biggest pay per view, there’s always surprises: especially when it comes to Wrestlemania moments….
We’ve already covered the kick-off pre-show, so onto the main event, hosted by The New Day, who kick off proceedings with a typical New Day promo – only this time they’re dressed like Final Fantasy characters (gotta get that video game sponsorship money right?) Though you have to give it to Big E for the double-entendre, hacker-centric joke about “pulling levers” then staring at Xavier Woods!

There has been tons of speculation as to the “Last Ride” for the Undertaker. Who the Dead Man’s final opponent will be be has been analyzed and guessed at, and frankly there are plenty of solid options, though Brock Lesnar remains the most likely. Sting, Kane, and several other vets and former foes would also make sense.
That said, what has not really been discussed nearly as much is what form The Undertaker’s final match will take. Over the years, Taker has been associated with a number of gimmick matches – special bout types that have in many cases become part of the Dead Man’s overall mythos. Some of these have become big enough to have outgrown the association with Taker himself – Hell in a Cell for one – while others have only ever been brought out when the Undertaker is involved.

Live from the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York, it’s SummerSlam 2015!
Lilian Garcia introduces host Jon Stewart and we’re under way! He drops a Beastie Boys reference and hypes up the show. ‘I’ve spent sixteen years talking about politics, it’s nice to be back in reality’. WWE? Reality? This is clearly a WWE-scripted intro, then. Huge boos for Cena’s name. This crowd is going to eat him alive. Mick Foley is brought out- cheap pops imminent…yup, there it is. They riff with each other for a while and it doesn’t really go anywhere. Still, nice to see Foley and Stewart looks up for this.
After the customary video package, it’s time for our first match…
Sheamus Vs. Randy Orton
Good choice for an opener. Orton went for an Rko early, but Sheamus bailed and cut a ringside promo and fans looking stupid.

Earlier this year, wrestling fans were shocked beyond belief on multiple occasions, as the events surrounding the Daniel Bryan situation at the Royal Rumble leading to WrestleMania unfolded and, of course, when The Deadman went on his presumed Last Ride. Unpredictable moments have been a staple of entertainment for as long as drama has existed. Climactic plot twists were themes in literature that found their way to the stage and, ultimately, were adopted by professional wrestling when it stopped being a legitimate sport and morphed into what we know it to be today.
So, what are the most shocking results in modern wrestling lore?

The marketing for The Expendables 3 may hint that this will be the geriatric action franchise’s “Last Ride,” but if the movie manages to make as much money as the last two installments, I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of a fourth outing. So, once the likes of Rambo, the Terminator, John McClane, Blade, He-Man, Han Solo, George Wallace, Zorro, and a host of other action movie icons have shared the screen, how do you go bigger for another sequel? Why, you add James Bond, of course!
In a recent interview with Coming Soon, Pierce Brosnan – who played the iconic super spy four times from 1995 to 2002 – revealed that he would love to hop on board the Expendables franchise, and has even had casual talks with producer Avi Lerner about it:

Any list of must-watch films is likely to be so arbitrary and subjective that it buys plenty of arguments, and so it proves with the Taste of Cinema website.s compilation on Australian cinema.
Its selection of 20 Essential Australian Films You Need To Watch overlooks many classics and more than a few stand-outs of the past 30 years.
Writer Liam Clark, a film/literature/music student in Sydney, acknowledges the first-ever feature length film was The Story Of The Kelly Gang in 1906. He then observes, .Since then, antipodean auteurs of the screen have been weaving their imagerial visions into challenging portraits of Outback Australia, racism, crime and hauntingly beautiful stories..

The Undertaker entered WrestleMania 30 with his unprecedented 21-0 undefeated streak intact, yet shockingly exited a beaten man. More controversial than the defeat itself though is the man that represents that 1 in 21 and 1; Brock Lesnar.
The mere thought of someone putting an end to Taker’s 21 year reign of dominance is already an unthinkable thought; the very notion of it happening is something the WWE Universe nonchalantly laughs off every year regardless of how relentlessly they impose the possibility. If it were to end it seemingly would have gone to a legend or full-time talent with something to gain. Instead, the accolade of streak breaker has gone to a part time superstar and former Ufc Champion indifferent towards professional wrestling. Brock is definitely an entertaining athlete, but nowadays he’s mostly involved for the money.
All of this most certainly paints Brock as a choice from left field, but...

For the 23+ years that The Undertaker has been contracted by WWE, he has to yet to lose at a WrestleMania. What started out as a simple string of victories against the likes of Jimmy Snuka and King Kong Bundy has escalated into one of the most coveted aspects of contemporary wrestling, and with the streak sitting at an unbelievable 21-0, speculation surrounding its continuation seems to run rampant around this time of year.
Some matches, like the ones contested earlier in his career, were not exactly tough ones from which to emerge victorious – Taker was riding the crest of a wave and was in physically impressive shape, cutting an intimidating figure with his career ahead of him, but as the streak grows the competition seems to get tougher and the near falls get even closer. Glendyn Ivin is a huge fan of Peter Weir.s Gallipoli but he has resisted the temptation to revisit Weir.s seminal 1981 movie since he was hired to direct the Nine Network miniseries Gallipoli. .I love that film; it.s one of the reasons I became a filmmaker,. Ivin told If on Monday during a recce for the eight-hour production which starts shooting in and near Melbourne on March 17. .But I have avoided watching it again because we are doing a very different story..
In keeping with this fresh take on the saga of the young Aussies who fought in the legendary WW1 campaign, Ivin said he and his DoP Germain McMicking will shoot the film in a style which is far from a traditional drama.
The screenplay is by Christopher Lee (Howzat! Kerry Packer.s War, Paper Giants, Rush, Police Rescue), adapted from the best-selling book by Les Carlyon.

Pilchard-Gosnell, 23, had been dating Walker since she was 16 and he was 33. She had recently become somewhat of a surrogate mother for his daughter Meadow Walker – who had recently moved in with them in California. Both she and Meadow were present at the charity event when Walker got into the Porsche Carrera Gt with Roger Rodas.

Five minutes after Walker and Rodas took off, the sounds of the crash could be heard by those at the fundraiser, including Reach Out Worldwide engineer Jim Torp, whose son made his way over to scene of the accident.

Paul Walker’s autopsy report was released on Wednesday by the Los Angeles country coroner’s office on Wednesday after it was put on a one-day security hold by investigators on Tuesday.
Paul Walker Autopsy Report
The coroner’s office says that Walker, 40, died as a result of the “combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries.” The findings indicate that the Fast & Furious star’s death was due to both the impact of the Porsche Carrera Gt crashing into the light pole and the fire that engulfed it. A video of the fatal accident on Saturday in Valencia, Calif., shows that the car burst into flames 60 seconds after it struck the pole.
Roger Rodas, who is confirmed to have been driving the one foreign street racing car, died from “multiple traumatic injuries,” according to the coroner’s report.
Both Walker and Rodas’ deaths have been ruled accidental, and as the...

It’s lucky 13 for the fun and fabulous Coney Island Film Festival! That’s right, 2013 will see the 13th annual edition of this New York City staple that combines the fine art of filmmaking with the rambunctious art of sideshow performing on Sept. 20-22.
The fest opens on the 20th with the documentary More Than the Rainbow, a profile of Matt Weber, an NYC cab driver who moonlights as an art photographer. The film is directed by Dan Wechsler.
Other docs screening at the fest include the uplifting tale of A Clown’s Recovery, directed by Matthew Broomfield; the sports drama of One Wall: Kings of Coney Island, directed by Joe Glickman; the profile of a Coney Island legend in The Commander in Chief, directed by Jim McDonnell; the struggle of Bending Steel, directed by Dave Carroll; and World Circus, directed by Angela Snow.

On a pretty average Monday Night Raw this week there was one announcement that seemed to have the whole WWE universe buzzing.
The Undertaker would join Daniel Bryan and Kane in a Six Man Tag Match against the Shield in London on the 22nd of April.
This is a great move by the WWE that works for all parties. Here’s why…
Why This Works For The Undertaker
There is no doubt in anyone mind that The Undertaker draws. There is nobody- full time or part time- who can get the pops he does consistently in any location at any time. While the Iwc deride part timers like The Rock sometimes for the path they take come Wrestlemania time there are few who begrudge the Deadman coming back each Wrestlemania and stealing the show. So the idea of the Undertaker staying after the show of shows is darned exciting.

In just one minute Glendyn Ivin will make you cry. His promo for the New Zealand Fire Service (below) is so damn effective that I got dust in my eyes twice watching it in quick succession. For those unfamiliar, Ivin is an Australian director who we are big fans of here at Twitch. He won Cannes with Cracker Bag, directed Hugo Weaving's (still) career best performance in Last Ride, and has recently moved into acclaimed television, directing Puberty Blues, Offspring, and Beaconsfield, and is now gearing up to direct a massive Wwi miniseries in 2014....

Screen Australia has found investment funding to back a new feature film: Backtrack.
It is the first major feature film or television project to receive funding from Screen Australia since last December, when the national screen agency revealed that it had committed its entire annual $42 milion budget within half a year.
While the funding for Backtrack surprised some in the industry, Screen Australia previously said the funding allocation was anticipated last December but only approved at the February 20 board meeting.
Backtrack is described as a spine-chilling supernatural thriller from writer/director Michael Petroni and producers Jamie Hilton (The Waiting City) and Antonia Barnard (Last Ride). The film follows a psychologist whose life is thrown into turmoil when he discovers his patients are all ghosts of people who died in an accident 20 years prior. Hilton said the film is expected to shoot mid-year, depending on cast availability.
